To be fair, there were some famous serial killers that were pedophiles. Two I can name off the top of my head are John Gacey and Jeffery Dahmer. Not all gays are pedophiles, but to say that it’s impossible for gay men to be pedophiles is ignorant. Straight pedophiles are more common, but that’s probably because straight people make up around 96% of any given population.

I was a little vague. How is calling a gay pedophile homophobic which is what he's stating? If the person is a pedo, then they are a pedo. It would be no different than calling a straight person a pedo I guess is my point.

The use of the words “homophobia” and “transphobia” in the face of contrary opinions has been one of the greatest political tools of the last decade. Since many people now get fearful of expressing different opinions on homosexuality and transgenderism, it has given anyone who identifies within these groups more political leverage over the common person. I’m not saying there can’t be genuine cases of these things, but as it stands in many first world nations, what is deemed as “homophobia” and “transphobia” is overblown in order to control other people. It’s because of these concepts, and people wanting to maintain their reputations and livelihoods, are why the entire movement has gotten out of hand.

I try not to be naked around my cat too much, but for me it's more about the claws.

I'd forgotten about this: 20 years ago I lived somewhere really hot in the summer. No air conditioning. I lived alone in the country, so would routinely be naked in my house. A few times one of the cats would surprise me by jumping on my lap. And a very few times the cat's claws nailed me in very bad places. I learned to always wear shorts or put a towel over my lap.

When will troons understand that there’s a difference between sexual preference and mental illness? On a scale of normality, requiring people to accept your chosen gender is way more detached from reality than seeing a couple in a same sex relationship. One requires surgery, hormones, and other things, while being gay doesn’t require any bodily changes. I’m not even gay and I’m tired of troons taking over the LGBT movement. To compare being gay to being a troon is insulting.

Reagan wanted to cut some budgets and the concept was there would then be community mental health, which should in theory be better than just warehousing loonies until they died. Kicking them out of the loony bins happened, but the community mental health shit never did.

The funding is there, we just can't find any nurses to fill those positions. Community mental health involves making home visits to schizophrenic gun-owning black men in the ghetto to make sure they're still taking their meds. Or maybe you get sent up north in our county to check on the schizophrenic gun-owning rednecks.

Obviously nobody wants to do this. Hell, cops would be afraid of doing shit like this. Psych hospitals are at least a semi-controlled environment where the patients don't have guns or knives.
