If Russhole stays quiet during the proceedings, I’d consider that at least a small win for the defence.
You know he'll be scoffing indignantly every time the judge or skordas says something he doesn't like hearing, possibly looking around at people as if to say "can you believe this shit?"

His jaw can't actually drop but it'll be clear that's his intended expression.

I'm just imminently gratified that Skordas is involved. It almost has to be Julianne or someone from the Hough family if he's involved so this could get interesting. I don't see him getting too cute during the proceedings, but :optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic: maybe we can look forward to another tome breaking down the legal showdown from his perspective.

I hope everything goes wrong for Rusty. Also, dad's money is being well spent again huh?

I'm getting all giddy thinking about the Skordas Smack Down round 2.

I like that in Russells head, Skordas is some troll who's cockblocking him and stopping his access to celebrity poon. He's almost like the Man in the Pickle Suit for the Greer Tales, except we have Real Lawyer in Clean Suit.

I think originally he was more like Snyder, just a normal mean trying to do his job who unwittingly came up against a tsunami of autism. But unlike Snyder, Skordas was hardened by that brush with autism, and now he rises as not just a regular lawyer, but Real Lawyer in Clean Suit.

Round 3. Skordas previously represented Taylor Swift and then Ariana Grande.

I wonder if Russhole knows about this already. Or if he's just finding out by reading this thread. Or if he'll actually be shocked to see him when he shows up in court.

I'm surprised he hasn't publicly been seething about his nemesis showing up again.

Rusty Russhole hiring a real lawyer is the best thing he could have ever done for himself. It’s long overdue that he be held accountable for his manipulative harassment tactics. Ideally, he needs to rack up a lengthy arrest record for harassment and stalking as a warning to anyone considering entering any kind of dealings with him.

Probably he'll shriek about bias and how Skordas represents Taylor and this is all a plan to send him to jail before he reveals the truth about how horrible she is for not giving him special treatment.

As for his radio silence: He might be banned, as some have suggested, or he might just be keeping quiet for his own good. His parents and/or lawyer might have found some way to impress upon him it would be in his best interests to be quiet about the matter until it's over.

I have a feeling when Skordas calls him out for his harassment he'll try deflecting and blame others like he did last time "But those kiwis and trolls are the real harassers! I'm the real victim!" And we all remember how Skordas kicked his ass when he tried that last time.

It's a good thing for Russ that his lawyer probably won't let him speak.

What are the chances of Skordas, outside of court, explaining the severity of Russel’s past behavior to the prosecutor and judge? Would that be unethical? We’ve assumed all that Russ will get is a slap on the wrist, but I’m thinking Skordas could have the ability to convince the prosecutor/judge that he isn’t some harmless r*tard based on facts that he might not be able to present in court.

Sounds like Skordas alerted the prosecution to Russ's history, so it's up to them about what they try to present. It's on the judge to allow or disallow evidence. The defense might object on relevancy, but the fact Russ has a heavily documented history of pulling shit like this then hiding behind his disabilities would seem to be pertinent to the case. It does show (in my admittedly amateur opinion) that this isn't a momentary lapse of judgement and without intervention, Russ is likely to do this again. Skordas won't be directly involved in the prosecution, that's the county prosecutor or district attorney's job. He's there to represent the interests of the victims, and since he's had history with Russ, I'm sure he'll urge a stiff sentence. I still wonder what exactly Russ said or did to warrant being charged. Most cases of electronic harassment are brushed off by the cops. I'm with the people who think he must have directly threatened violence towards someone important. There's more going on than we're aware of, I'm sure.

EDIT: Didn't someone figure out that the woman he was trying to "woo" was from Orem? I guess he contacted her family like he did with Swift's family and this time they were more forceful in telling him to leave them alone. We all know how badly Russ reacts when he's denied something he thinks he's owed, so that probably prompted a threat or at least repeated attempts at contact after being told to go away. His lawyer probably strongly advised him against taking the stand, but if he did, I'd love to see the prosecution blow holes in his justifications for breaking the law.

So Russ's lawyer is a "fun loving individual with a calming demeanor" who has the ability to "bring laughter to the most stressful situations". Is this a really an ad for a lawyer? Or is it a singles ad, or perhaps an ad for a therapist? Have the Greers finally accepted that Russ will never find love, and agreed to pay for the boyfriend experience? Nah, his parents obviously chose this lawyer for his tard wrangling ability. Russ still doesn't realize it, but he's being treated as a sped once again. Russ, are you going to let your parents treat you like a tard, or will you defend yourself in court like a man? Ha ha ha, Russ is too much of a little bitch who is afraid of men to defend himself against a real man; all his failed stints in court came when he was on the attack. Guess you'd better do what mommy and daddy's lawyer says, little boy.

Let us not forget how he handled being rejected by Taylor Olivia. IIRC he bombarded Taylor's family with letters and what not, so it's very understandable if Julianne's family is having none of that.
"I will rise above your preconceived notions" was one of my favourite Russ lines. Really sums up his entire being. I can picture him mumbling this into the night looking like he does in my avatar.

At this point, against Skordas, Rusty and his family are fighting a losing battle. At this point, Skordas is as much of a Rustorian and most of us, and you have the fact that Rusty attempted to e-stalk his daughter, something he mentioned to the judge during the AG trial. It doesn't help that the people against Rusty are on a fact finding mission, and Rusty, at the same time, keeps finding more ways to screw the pooch, ironically.
