Hey remember that earlier post about not all blacks are black? Can we add anime blacks in there as well as dollars for donuts they weren't the descendants of war prisoners sold off for profit.....err slaves.

So what I’m getting is that this person openly hates the show but still draws fanart of it and waits for season 2. They hate that the female lead doesn’t win all her fights and wish she could do more, never mind there’s an in story reason why she can only do so much. And they’d only like the show if the main characters had the same race as them, never mind that the show takes place in Taisho era Japan.

What the hell happened to the anime fandom?

Stuff like that is why the more you compare what these people say to Marx's writings, the more you realize Marx would hate them.

Don't get me wrong, Marx's vision of the future was wrongheaded and a classic example of something that sounds good in theory but breaks down in reality, but these twats' concept of communism doesn't even sound good in theory. A ten year old could spot the massive problems with it. The argument is pretty dumb because all you're doing is paying for Crunchyroll's "quirky" office and making shit like High Guardian Spice or helping Chris Sabat get his couch cleaned. Jap creators aren't seeing shit (and they won't since the sub-minimum wage animator will still make fuck all), it's like Spotify and how relatively big artists will only get checks for like 20 dollars, if that.

Because god forbid a character have to experience growth or overcome a challenge. Female characters should be 100% competent at every skill, and if a male character beats her in a fight, that's sexism. Having character flaws that makes her relatable? Pfft, women don't have flaws! Don't be such a misogynist!
