After that, he got another gig (probably same reason) writing the new Turok comic for Dynamite, which was a critical and commercial disaster. Even the butchered HK-47 in the novel ends up admiring her and affectionately calls her "Tennim's mom" with Tennim being her son in the Alliance who she never shuts up about and talks about him constantly to his fellow soldiers and treating him like a baby in front of them, or wanting to protect all the kids. FYI if anyone can't recall, Tennim is Chuck Wendig's chubby self-insert Snap Wexley who died in IX. So Wendig literally inserted his own ideal mommy waifu to protect him from the baddies in the book. This is Wendig's ideal "mommy guardian gf who will give me milkies". At the end of Wendig's final book they even have dinner together and "spend the night together" to make up for lost time after the Empire is "defeated". So again, yes, Wendig put his ideal mommy here and went on a fictional date with her.

I knew about the Space Hillary Clinton shit but I don't think I recall fart fetish Snap's date with her. Makes me wonder what the hell happened to Chuck growing up. Some sort of trauma with his mother that fucked up his mental development? I wonder if he has mommy issues or is estranged from his mother. I bet it's because his mother votes Republican.

Its hilarious that Wendig's shit was so bad they had to completely erase it to actually move the comic forward. Do we have sales numbers on the new version?

Both series were five issues. Wendigo's first and last issues sold 6,055 and 2,375 units respectively, the reboot's first and last sold 6,893 and 3,648. Within the small customer base, the reboot sold a little more and lost much less readers over the course of the series (literally every comic's sales reflect this sort of sales loss, #1 issues always outsell the rest of the series).

Note the Turok numbers mean physical shop orders, not the actual sales off the shelf, and they exclude digital sales. It's possible (but very unlikely) that the people who cheered Wendigo on social media as he insulted customers actually supported the product, rather than just tweeting and smashing like buttons. Were this the case, I'd think he'd have been hired for more (or higher-profile) work, but he hasn't written a comic book since.

I think he once mentioned his father, I'm just not sure when. His SW novels don't really talk about father figures much, but his self-insert's father was kidnapped by the Empire when he was a kid and turned evil because of brainwashing and he even attacked his son, but in the end they forgive his brainwashed evilness after he sacrifices himself. He also compares Trump to an abusive father and wants a female president to serve as his protecting mommy. Is that enough to make an analysis?

I'm sure someone else here more familiar with his Twitter history can offer up more about any mention of his father.

Also does anyone know how well Wendigo's SW books sold? I mean is there a precise number of units? Some kind of statistics somewhere? I'd like to know along with the sells of the fart novel that succeeded him. It'd also be nice to have a source with some precise numbers in regards to novel sales.
