That child is fucking starving. Medication or no medication, autism/sensory problems or none, that child is not getting proper nutrition. This is absolutely something that a person in Desmond's IRL life should be reporting to child services.

When girls get scary skinny like that at this age, it often goes unreported and unacknowledged, after all, they're just trying to look like runway models! A lot of them end up with undiagnosed eating disorders that cause health problems for the rest of their lives, because no one even fucking bothers reporting starving girls. Starving boys usually get noticed more (and bullied more), but Desmond's whole presentation makes it so that I bet a lot of people are making the same excuses about him that they'd make about girls.

Yep, hence my reference. Even mentioned it here several times myself. Though hybristophilia is probably going out on a limb too far. She's obsessed with him to a near cult-member-like level, but I have a hard time believing her awe and devotion are paraphiliac in nature. She's a stage mom who wants to make her kid the next michael alig, but alig doesn't make her panties wet.
Edited to not make another post: I was going to elaborate in my original comment about him looking like a crackwhore in this pictures and hookerish in the rpdr reaction video, it's about age. If she's having him say that he's gender fluid (or if he is gender fluid), or if he's a "drag kid" it's still inappropriate to fashion a 12 year old like a street walker. This isn't a new issue and I'm sure it's been discussed here before, but I don't get why people (in general, not here) aren't outraged by the age-inappropriateness of his styling. If he's gender fluid, does that make it ok for on his feminine days to look like he's on the corner giving blowies for bumps? Obviously no. But people who think he is "amazing" think it's all fine. I don't know if my sadness for him is stronger than my disgust for her. Probably equal.
