it's almost 24 hours later, and i am still mystified as to what her genitals have to do with coronavirus, and both mystified as to why she talked about them and horrified that she did. the sperg in me also has to complain that the guy talked about living 'a immunodeficiency lifestyle.' i didn't know that being immunodeficient was a lifestyle choice. i thought it was a physical condition. maybe next it will be an identity. Also, it's 'an,' buddy, not 'a' before 'immunodeficiency.'

I wonder, with the people who they're forced to let die in Italy, are they trying any experimental treatments? If they're going to die without any treatment why not try things that you wouldn't try on a person who has a chance?

Injecting people with experimental mystery drugs has a horrible tendency to turn a relatively calm death to a horrific screaming agony exploding veins death. Which doesn't really make the people who made the drug look very good.

I guess "immunodeficiency lifestyle" is a code word for being ravaged by AIDS or a bug chaser that considers HIV a gift. To hell with them and their "lifestyle".

went to the store earlier. hasn't hit my area yet, people were polite and all but you could feel real tension in the air. someone earlier ITT said it feels like war is on the doorstep. definitely felt that way to me walking through the empty toilet paper aisle.

yeah but how else you gunna fulfill your role as badass plague doctor?

What do they say in China? 他妈的?

They went ahead with 700+ communal Lunar New Year dinner in Wuhan after they knew the virus about to go nuclear and then the city exploded with Corona-chan, spreading all over China and the world you re.tard.
This is false. There is no evidence that anyone, especially not at the national government level, knew the true nature of the virus at that point.

And it's pretty fucking rich to criticize China for not taking stricter measures sooner when the US and Europe carried on as if nothing was happening and held countless mass gatherings all throughout January, February, and the beginning of March.

John S. Bulla is a schizocow with his own thread. Taking his posting as indicative of any particular social trend would be a mistake, to put it mildly.

edit: linked to proper thread

At this point, I'm caring less about the virus itself and more about what people are doing during all this.

One the one hand, this might be the wake up call the world needs in regards to refuting globalism and telling Commie China to stuff it, possibly leading to a new golden age of nationalism for many countries now that we've learned the hard way how putting all your eggs in one manufacturing basket is a terrible idea. On the other, we're already seeing governments taking this opportunity to further extend authoritarian rule with the German Trojan law passing and the US sneakily trying to do something similar with the EARN IT Act, due to how the populace are too distracted and panic-stricken to notice what the elites are pulling behind the curtains (at least, more than usual).

Suffice to say, I'm 50/50 optimistic, and fucking terrified.

Genuine question, if someone near you gets sick, be it a family member or even a next-door neighbour, what can you do to improve their condition/ chances of survival?

If hospitals are set to get overwhelmed, then it would be handy to know what precisely untrained individuals can do to minimise casualties outside of a hospital setting, because there has to be more that can be done once the virus gets past social distancing.

Assuming they're not having difficulty breathing or outright pneumonia, the level of care an average Joe should provide is about the same as if the individual had seasonal flu. Plenty of liquids, using acetaminophen/ibuprofen to manage fevers, ensuring the patient has plenty of rest, and ensuring an adequate caloric intake are about the best you can do. The preference would be to have the patient self-medicate and provide self-care, but if they're in the same house as you, I would wager you're going to be next almost regardless of what you do.

They knew in November 2019, by early December a doctor was warning other doctors about his patients with a SARS-like illeness and he's thrown in jail by CCP officials where he dies of the very virus he's warned everyone about. Take Xi's tiny penis out of your mouth and shill your communist propaganda elsewhere.

The electric and gas company in California made announcements claiming they won't be disconnecting people in the state if they're unable to pay the bills because of the Coronavirus. I'm wondering if this is happening in other states in the USA.
A few power companies in Oregon have made similar announcements. Of course, not the one I'm with, but whatever.

At this time, I am more afraid of the consequences of the virus (culturally and especially economically) than I am of the virus itself.

Of course I have loved ones I am worried about with the virus. However, I know for certain that they are taking the proper precautions, which statistically benefits them tremendously. Makes me feel a lot less anxious about it, let me tell you. If more people practiced this common sense, this virus wouldn't be nearly as awful.

An unstable economy though? There are so many things that can happen to fuck it up more, and that's definitely more concerning and unpredictable.

What's so hard to believe? Every time a new COVID-19 infection is discovered, the subject's movements are reconstructed from GPS, and everyone with whom they interacted are also tested and quarantined if positive. This is repeated until there are no more cases. There are also mobile and fixed automated checkpoints where temperature readings are performed. If the person has a fever, they are tested.

They did not "invent" it. That's baseless conspiracy theory talk. It was a chance mutation which could have occurred anywhere.

Yes, they are very serious about containing the outbreak. Is this not a good thing? A quarantine is useless if not enforced. I suppose in America they would rather let a hundred thousand die than detain someone in their home and risk litigation from a Jëwish human rights lawyer.

Confirmed CCP operative. Your Engrish is pretty good comrade.
