The unidentified 53-year-old man from Nelson County recently tested positive at the University of Louisville, but left against medical advice — and also refused to self-isolate at home, Gov. Andy Beshear said at a press conference.

A local judge declared a state of emergency in order to invoke a little-known statute that allows him to force a “self-isolation or quarantine,” the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

So I've noticed two things in the last few days as the Wu Flu panic continues to escalate.
Firstly, I knew the Chinese were a bunch of racist fucks but goddamn I've seen more subtlety from The Westboro Babtist Church. I myself have been verbally accosted no less than seven separate times in the last two days for being white and American. I thought the whole "American pigs" thing was just an over exaggeration of how they talk but it turns out they ARE that cartoonish.


The second thing is people wishing death on the generations before them. I just had a conversation this morning with a friend who said "I'm hoping it'll kill a bunch of boomers" to which I responded "That's not nice", his reply still has me baffled at his justification "It's not about being nice it's about saving the world." What the fuck is wrong with you people seriously? What happened to love and respect for your fellow man? How is it that a generation of liberals who preach tolerance and love are the closest thing to actual nazis I've ever seen in person?

If you guys never had fluid in your lungs let me explain the feeling. It's not like smoking where you the feeling of having difficulty breathing comes from the throat. This comes inside the lungs feeling of breathlessness. I had pneumonia when I was a kid, all I really remember from that is vomiting on the floor not being able to breath and sleeping on the floor near my own vomit.

The way that the UK is dealing with this it pathetic. My mum lives a town over and has had a chesty cough but she's been told by her work to keep working or else docked pay and she's disabled, so chances are this'll effect her more than her 20 something year old colleagues. As for me, I went to the hospital earlier today for a routine physio appointment and the atmosphere was weird. Hand sanitizer everywhere - from entrance to the physio reception, there were three stops to wash your hands at. Different to how it usually is in there. My physio was asking me tonnes of questions about how I was feeling, more so about corona than what I was actually there for. Anyway, I've got home, had a nap and now my chest is tight and I've got an annoying cough. My work's implementation has literally been to disinfect pens after customers use them but to try not to take any time off because if over your absence quota, you could be fired.
Sucks, the UK is bullshit and I'm pretty sure the government is doing essentially nothing right now.

Similar thing happening in my lily white suburb. The richer folk are insistent that the one case is from my 1% nigger half of town.

This kind of speech signals intent to introduce legislation, the goal is to generate consensus and identify points of contention. The webinar was organized at the last minute, I think the first announcement went out on Friday. Speakers are continuing to sign up.

What's really surprising is when it's happening. Sens. Marsha Blackburn and Bob Menendez are currently sponsoring a bill in the Senate looking to accomplish the same thing.

Might be a good idea to listen in. My impression is something big is about to happen and it will involve more than pharma.

Yep, have permanent Pulmonary scarring from it since I was at least very young, and it makes you much more susceptible to breathing issues. It sucks, nothing to shake a stick at.
