The modern form of Sickle Cell is the result of the Tuskegee experiments meant to kneecap the black community and make them an eternal slave race. This was done by racist Democrats after it became clear their plans to sink their former slaves were doomed to failure. Combined with a genius smear campaign to paint the Republicans as the actual racists, plus several planted agents in the GOP and you have the modern political situation whereby leftists are almost universally racist (sometimes in secret but I mean you can see it everywhere it is so fucking obvious) yet constantly claiming the Republicans are the racists. Pharma, being a left-leaning girl's club was promoted and of course fell in line.

Preventative medicine like you would get from a DO easily smashes through this bullshit plot and this is why for the period of time spanning from the 1970s to the late 1990s there was a concerted effort by the MD community to smear DOs and marginalize their ability to practice. In exchange for this favor, pharma gave the cooperative medical community access to all kinds of untested, often-poisonous drugs to further deteriorate the black community.

Ten years ago that ship set sail, someone said in response. Yeah that ship set sail... to the island of victory. It is going to take generations to undo the damage done to the black community, if it can be repaired at all. The racist community of MDs in cahoots with their masters have ensured that America can never reach its full potential.

Preventative medicine? The nigs have no use for that shit. The ghetto ass hospital where I work tried to open a "preventative medicine" clinic that would give lectures and seminars to the blacks about managing their hypertenshins and diabeetus with like proper diet and exercise, but it was a dismal flop. Nobody showed up for that shit. They just wanted free blood pressure piws and insulin n' shit.

They gave up after two years of the blacks using the wellness center as a free minute clinic, and they closed it.

Funny since I got into an argument today with someone who couldn’t believe that I would say the media’s response has been ridiculous and they’re just making things up. He told me to stop watching Fox News, which I don’t watch anyway. :story:

Yeah I'm not sure that's actually refuting the story. Initial reading of the story made it sound like Trump wanted the US to have the copyright for a vaccine owned by the US (by the government itself?), whereas this quote is talking about how the US didn't offer to buy their entire company.
