He'd also have to face opposition from within his own party, especially since neoliberal Democrats are at the helm of our most influential businesses and institutions. Well, they think global warming is caused by CO2 in the first place so they're already slightly dent-headed. The issue Dems are having with problem creation is that they created a problem and now people are looking elsewhere for the solution, and anyone's solution seems fine to them.
