Well they just locked down the entire country, closed off international flights today. Trudeau in promising leader fashion, still stretching this thing out wider than goatsee, looking like a fucking fruit like usual. All events are cancelled, public places closed, and all the restaurants are being asked to close for at least the next 3 weeks. I have to now wait for my ROE form with my final pay from my boss. So looks like I am out of work until this blows over, guess better safe than sorry, but I was really not looking forward to losing my job for the time being. They are saying there is going to be a speed up in EI benefits for people laid off, with some packages available for all of the people who just lost their jobs this week. Only delivery services, shops, and essential services are open. Government buildings are even closed for the time being, so the projection here is 3 weeks.

Luckily I just upgraded my internet so it's worked better than it ever has, so I can stream some hi-def streams of the chimp outs that are going to start happening soon. Seeing economic trends the damage will be substantial, so hopefully people can get on the whole fuck China outsourcing campaign so that goods and services can slowly be pumped back into our respective economies. They just opened a screening center where I am at, so in the manner of a few short hours cases are for sure are going to start popping up. Hopefully we can tackle this thing and anti-viral treatments and remedies can start coming out to help the people that end up contracting it.

So, time for a Pillockshire update. I got up early as fuck to get to the supermarket (as it opens from 7am) and I need to socially distance due to the joys of my problems.

Supermarket was only lightly restocked, items are now harshly limited on anything toilet related. You can buy one item and one item only.

Everyone was calm and mostly the elderly and we all kept a respectful distance and got what we needed to.

Until I got out into the car park, packed up and was driving out when I nearly got T-boned by a bitch of a mother with wide, panicked eyes and her child in the seat next to her. From the way she was driving she'd obviously not found jack shit from wherever she lived. Should be fun if she tries to hoard shit only to be told "lol no" by the cashiers or the self checkout.

Social distancing appears to be working really well. Accident and Emergency depts are reporting they can actually cope for a change of not having tards shitting up the place.

Postie dropped off a package for me, and they now knock on the door, and left it on the doorstep, waiting till he saw me pick it up.

3-plague doctors weren't medics, they were bureaucrats and an early attempt at the scientific method. Important thing for people to grasp. The testing really serves no clinical purpose. It’s easier for the Doctors to just assume you have it. Clinical treatment and precautions will be used regardless. The testing only serves to let the Government know how far and where it has spread. Once the disease reaches saturation point the testing is largely pointless.
