I like the part where someone said just don’t buy the new games or something and he responded “then how will I cover the newest releases and do my job?”

Is his job covering new games? Then why does he play Minecraft and boomer fighter 2? You’re jahb is being a streamer, nowhere are you required to play every new release that comes out. This is why he seems so fucking fake and un-genuine, he just buys games to buy them hoping they’ll attract new viewers on the merit of being new releases.

Plenty of people do this for a job and don’t feel compelled to buy damn near every game that releases, people have these things called interests and preferences.
He’s more than happy To skip a game if he actively hates it or thinks he’ll hate it, he’d probably enjoy streaming a lot more if he also skipped games he couldn’t care less about and didn’t drag his knuckles through them

DSP's brain can't comprehend any way to play this game other than to camp, wait until there's two people left, and then kill him from behind and win.

He complains that the game is boring, yet makes no effort to make the game not boring. Passed a helicopter and didn't take it. Camps in a room for several minutes and hopes people kill each other. No shit the game is boring?

He's literally had several instances where he's had people in his sights and refused to shoot because it might give away his hiding spot.

Also, I love how he keeps collecting/hoarding money and makes no effort to spend any of it. He probably doesn't even know THAT he can spend it because he's paying no attention to the game mechanics.

Funny part is that he's done it, and he even got a UAV (actual smart move). Of course, when he did it, he popped the UAV and proceeded to kill...no one.

Phil was making a big deal about not putting on the vest unless he had said ahead of time that it was a goal for the night, something something both parties need to agree on this arrangement beforehand... anyone think Phil might have gotten a talking to after that $200 vest + hat night? or is he just doing his usual "can't tell me what to do even if you give me money" thing?

It's the latter. He gets raging hard-ons any time he can be an asshole and condescend to chat. This usually happens when he's gotten the money he wanted and thus doesn't feel he has to grovel any more. Like tonight.

DSP has two of the most OP guns in the game (probably) and is still refusing to engage. Even when he has people in his sights, he's not pulling the trigger.

And when he did, he promptly got smoked

Edit: Also, shoutout to cholo_veterano_OG, who showed up in chat, dropped about $21 in cheers, got timed out by a mod, and has spent the evening repeatedly talking about his brazilian girlfriend going away in a cape, thong, and heels and nearly lifting off. Being generous, someone pathetically drunk off their ass. More realistically, someone pathetically attempting to be lolrandomfunny.

Phil just stays baffling to me, I wanna bet he could have easily reached the 200 dollars if he would have agreed to put on the vest at 200 like someone asked. Yet just to spite the little paypiggies he refuses.

At the same time, he’s also starting to sound a bit frustrated, might have been the rum talking, but I think this is the first time he spoke rather openly about being bankrupt. Maybe his spending having an actual limit now he can’t rely on credit cards anymore is actually getting to him.

Purely speculation, but I think he's finally realizing, with MidFirst's filing, that this bankruptcy isn't going to be the cakewalk he believed it would be. At the very least, he's going to have to pay the lawyer to defend him against the motion, so even if he wins this particular part, he's likely still out a couple thousand dollars just to do so. Add in the fact that he, as you note, can't just freely spend on credit like he's used to, and he's definitely feeling it. Although given that he doesn't have the CT condo mortgage payment (just condo fees) or any of his credit card payments, he ought to be much better off right now. Of course, none of this stopped him dropping $300 on WWE Champions a few days ago, so...

my guess is he knows he's earning too much, it's weird to see him reel it in a bit, it's not like him

something happened at whatever meeting he had yesterday that made him scared to beg as usual, the two games are probably him probably trying to bloat his expenses

  • Optimistic
Reactions: actually
My favorite moment of tonight was when he tried to get the "no one needs hand sanitizer" line over again. It's like an idiot telling his joke a second time because he didn't think the audience got it. Its like he wants encouragement and for his whole audience to erupt in to statements of "WOW PHIL YOU'RE RIGHT!" followed by chants of "PHIL PHIL PHIL PHIL".

He said one of his main gripes with the game is "everyone is a Terminator".
What the flying fuck did he mean by this metaphor? He meant that he thinks the TTK in the game is too high and doesn't like the amount of shots he has to land to get a kill, but Phil has almost no common game related terminology in his lexicon so he just says a weird metaphor that he can barely explain.
Also if the amount of hits to kill were 2 or 3 bullets like Phil wants to be "realistic" (as if Phil has any idea what's realistic when it comes to bullets hitting the human body and fatality thresholds, but that's a different rant) he would just be bitching even more that the game has a .5 sec TTK and he's "dying instantly".

Edit: After watching @Comma 's video I understand that because Phil shoots 20 bullets into the floor that he thinks are all hits because he's fucking blind he thinks it takes 30 hits to kill someone. . .and that is Phil's genuine opinion, except when it only takes 4 to 6 hits in which case if someone does it to Phil it's "complete bullshit" and when Phil does it to someone it's "Ghat 'Em!!".

It's fitting that the most interesting thing I've gotten from Pig this while (besides the bankrupcy he's auto-failing by refusing to show), is the neat idea of a Terminator vs. Target game akin to the Friday the 13th game where one of you plays the hard to kill robot.
