I'm not sure where Hachiko intends on posting it.I predict smugness from Jake, followed by a frantic Googleshng on how you shouldn’t believe Nazis, a series of panicky tweets and finally a suicide bait.

I kind of hope Hachiko continually nudges Jake back into suicide baiting every time he comes back, until even the gnome himself gets sick of it.I predict smugness from Jake, followed by a frantic Googleshng on how you shouldn’t believe Nazis, a series of panicky tweets and finally a suicide bait.
Their linktree doesn’t list a youtube so it’s safe to assume it’ll go right to twitter. I’ll bet the video is shit and is just reading tweets. but the notion of it, more than anything, having Jake shaking in his boots is delectable.I'm not sure where Hachiko intends on posting it.
That's exactly what I'd expect when he's not actively driving people away with his radioactivity. Most of the people who would patronize him are the kind of slowbrains who don't really pay much attention unless forced to.Despite a radio silence jake’s Twitter followers and patreon are about even
DisCon is one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard and is something Jake should invest a lot of time and money into.
Correct me if I’m missing something, but isn’t the entire point of a convention that you’re physically there? What he’s describing seems to be just the Internet, only with limitations to fit a format. Only a shut-in like Jake would think this was a good idea.
The thing that surprises me the most is that he’s actually heard about the pandemic. No doubt he considers it low priority compared to Gamergate.
My 'Tism Holy War knowledge is a little dated but I'm pretty sure this is loosely based on something that happened during Gamergate. Some random brazilian cunt (a journalist I think) was harassing Anita Sarkeesian and GGers outed him, which prompted the Anti-GG side to immediately drop the story like a hot potato when they could no longer use it to attack GG.4. Where did he even get "undercover cop from Brazil"? Boy's creative, give him that much.
What terrible names. Slimecon is legitimately better than any of those.
Back around 2002 Jake had the idea for a convention set in Connecticut or the general New England area called SlimeCon.What's Slimecon? Google doesn't give any disastrous results.
Violet Cassan er... Jake Alley said:On the other hand, I have access to a steady supply of new and current anime, a number of public places to attract people, from (like this one), and while I don't know any celebrities from the anime world, I have some really good connections in the RPG world, so I could even snag a few guests if I went hybrid. So, anime itself, check. Guests, half-check. Import gaming room, check. Costume and music video contests, check. Patrons, check. A Dealer room... well... I'm pretty sure that If You Build It, They Will Come. I seem to have all the ingredients nessessary to start up an anime/gaming convention. Before I start passing the collection plate and looking at convention hall pricing though, I must ask you, should I? I have gained the impression that most people who read this page are EXTREMELY STINGY with their money, and judging by the contents of my inbox after each update, not terribly outgoing. So if anyone reading this happens to be...
then drop me a line, and I'll actually start to pursue this goal. Otherwise, I suppose this fanciful notion will simply die right here and now, and we'll all have to live with a meager what? 20 big annual anime conventions spread across the country and the year?
- ... willing to head up to Connecticut in, say, June, to attend such an event,
- ... one who runs their own anime convention with some cautionary tales to tell,
- ... a notable personage from the world of anime or gaming who would be willing to come as a guest speaker to such an event... and heck, I'd probably even accept the likes of Pete Abrams or Scott Sharkey,
- ... an anime dealer willing to bring along a truckload of loot,
- ... someone who just has way too much money and a desire to rid themselves of it,
