I'm calling bullshit just based on how many journalists and politicans would be fucked with this law. DC is technically in maryland when it comes to shit like state lines, but almost all journalists are in VA, same with a shitload of congress, the amount of interstate travel between VA and MD is almost as much as the ones between NJ and NY. You would basically be turning everyone against the feds for that. Christie went from prospective head of the RNC or President to unemployed for closing a few lanes of traffic on just one bridge in new jersey. deaths would happen with interstate travel, that plus the century of road building in this nation means you would need a vehicle and soldier on every road. stopping interstate travel also doesn't stop people from

It is bullshit.

I'll tell you something that's not bullshit though.

Typhoid Margaret from the nursing home infected at least 50 HCWs in Oregon. That's our next little flashpoint.

I wonder if in hindsight, given the damage to the global economy from all this, it would have just been cheaper to guarantee a nutrition supply to every human on the planet so they don't have to eat shit like bats and monkeys. Add up all the money and lost growth and this'll end up costing trillions right? And killing millions? I think I'd rather have spent that money feeding everyone. Literally just giving away food everywhere until nobodies involuntarily hungry any more. How many tens of billions would that cost per year? Versus trillions now?
Rich people seem to be the ones in China eating this shit. Never being hungry isn't a reason to not try things that may seem weird. People are fucking weird. Look at the shit the people with threads here do, with most of them being full on NEETS.

It is if it's done at the behest and/or to benefit a foreign power, especially if it's a hostile foreign power. If the ChiComs deliberately allowed the virus to escape, infect our citizens and then deny us medicine and parts for ventilators then it's pretty much a casus belli for war.
China is not "a hostile foreign power" regardless of how we feel about them (or how much they should be.) And as dumb as the MSM is, it's retarded to think they're taking their marching orders from beijing. This is a normal level of retardation for them

Are we seriously going to start bitching about a potential treatment for this, now? Are we actually going to do that?
A drug that has been on the market since 1945 and has been well studied to not be dangerous.

There is legitimately no reason to not give this to someone who is in no danger of the already known and documented side effects. JESUS FUCK we live in fucking Clown World.

China is not "a hostile foreign power" regardless of how we feel about them (or how much they should be.) And as dumb as the MSM is, it's exceptional to think they're taking their marching orders from beijing. This is a normal level of exceptionalism for them
China is actively hostile to the US. Expanding using manmade islands in the South China Sea is one overt example, but their undermining of our manufacturing with the aid of greedy traitors winthin our country to weaken us.

I don't think Bejing is leaning on CNN, and other outlets. I believe the msm is so batchit insane they'd rather suck China's dick than let Trump get a win. But saying China is not attempting to challenge and bring down US strength globally and locally is just wrong.

The Chinese desire to eat bats stems from them having a lot of money. They eat delicacies to improve their sex lives.

Without disrespecting the president's expertise in biochemical pharmacology and his judgement on the effectiveness of drugs on coronaviruses, I kind of like to hear things like this directly from the actual experts now. Otherwise, it sort of feels like propoganda.

The US seems to be very careful with declaring someone recovered compared to alot of other countries.

Correct. Also ... It takes a few weeks to recover, and this thing just hit the US nation wide a week ago. This is a very new thing for the country at the moment.

There's also the fact that most of the deaths have been from the same nursing homes. That's bound to spike up the casualties, unfortunately.

You couldn't be more incorrect. Lying to the entire world about this thing, in of itself, is a hostile action.

They're playing the exceptional racism angle because 1) they're fucktarded and 2) their fucktarded overprivileged turdpile of a readership eats that shit up. That's not actual chinese propaganda. I don't think these people are actually taking marching orders from Winnie the Poo. This particular article doesn't even say anything positive about the chinks, it's just a garden variety "drumphthhdgpppbbbbbbbbbb did it so its bad" article.

The espionage act is specifically about military engagements so I think it has fuck-all to do with any of this. Freedom of the press is profoundly important, even if the press is dumber than a bag of hair.

True. Which is why this is annoying. The espionage act prohibits the US press from undermining national defense. The more strict sedition act passed at the same time was repealed but fuck me if these Morons aren't pushing the limits as far as they think they can go.

I'm not talking about how we feel about China. I'm talking about actual official reasoning that would land someone aiding them in violation of the espionage act. Obviously China is a shitshow and is entirely responsible for this shit. But you are absolutely not going to get someone prosecuted for treason for arguing the opposite.

F in the chat for my liver tomorrow night, for Friday is going to be a long day.

The crazies in Washington are in the state capital.
People may think you jest, but you're on the nose with that one.

Jenny Durkan, the dumb fuckin bint in charge of Seattle, spent the first chunk of her speech talking about injecting money into the arts community to make Seattle nice when this is all over.

Wish I could find the clip again, but yeah. Washington is a goddamn circus and the rodeo clowns run the show.
