Kind of off topic but I’m pretty sure the reason these artists blackwash characters is because they want more representation for black people in the media, so instead of literally creating their own black characters, they get lazy and just draw already existing characters as black.

If so, it’s a stupid way to try and get more representation for black people. Like, blackwash these characters all you want, they’re still going to be Asian/white/whatever their actual race is in canon.

It's Homestuck, duh.

Homestuck is an urban fantasy comic with coming of age themes and those are clearly abstract daemons from a dark fantasy videogame or perhaps a novel. You can see that the red one has a Bongo Bongo floating hands thing going on and a vaguely native American aesthetic. While the second's mouth clearly apes after the Cheshire Cat, possibly the rest of her too judging by how the background is patterned after her hair. Those are qualities which are absent from any Homestuck character.

The art isn't too SJW-ey besides the incestuous face structure, TBH looks like a Boondocks styled version (parody?) of Homestuck. Nobody's fat, crippled, disgustingly hirsute, no obnoxious pride flags besides Rose's very lowkey bracelet...yeah I mean this gets a pass unless this was made by like, a black supremacist or something, which, while being SJW-adjacent is a whole other can of problematic non-intersectional worms.
