I've experienced pretty much every symptom but a fever for the past two weeks, but not all at once. Runny nose and sore throat are gone. The cough has gotten less bad but it still persists. I have a heinous case of the chills, my joints feel like someone's take a hammer to them and when the headaches come all I can do is lie down for about six hours. My digestive system periodically decides to produce painful gas and awful megafarts but no diarrhea. Never had the chest pain people report either.

My brother, mother, and I all live in the same house and they have it worse than me. Brother and mother report chest pain which is the only difference in symptoms to me besides severity. still no fevers on top of it. Brother is blowing at 350 and 450cc's lung capacity and I'm between 450-525 but blood oxygenation isn't worrying. It's nifty to already have a pulse oximeter and a lung capacity testing device. We should probably look at our blood pressures today too.
My brother and I now need doctors notes saying we're fine to go back to work. When our illness finally goes away that would be easy enough, except the medical system is a great place to recieve Nurgle's greater blessings.

Is it corona-chan? Fuck if I know. Not like I can get tested in the US with these symptoms. They focus on the fever and respiratory symptoms, probably to keep the numbers down and reduce panic. Who knows? Maybe other weird nasty shit escaped the biolabs in Wuhan before Corona-chan and gave us the "fuck my life, end me" flu.

I've had cold symptoms for days. Doubt it's the loving embrace of Corona-chan but semi-self-quarantining.

I went to Wal*mart to watch people panic-buy and caught the worst goddamn cold I've had in my life. I've had a really shitty runny nose and a low level fever for an entire week. No cough or other respiratory symptoms though.
Colds don’t give fevers my friend.

I have the WuFlu, I’m convinced but cannot get tested. Today is worst day so far. Fever very high and hard to keep under control. Evil coof and heavy chest. On breathing treatments and OTC pain reliever/fever reducer and trying like hell to avoid the local ER Petri dish.

I don't have it, but I'm being affected.

I live in a small, farming community in Ohio. We also have two cases. It's actually really fucking scary. Since this happened, we haven't got any sun, just always overcast.

I'm head chef of an anonymous restaurant. I'm used to working my ass off, all day.

Yesterday, from 12 PM to 5 PM we had an entire 7 orders.

It's just really scary. I'm just hanging in there, kiwis.

People are evacuating, which is retarded though. Reminds me of a quote from an old modern warfare game.

"3000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town. "

Don't have a clue if I have it. My throat has felt tight, but that's normal for me, especially due to unrelated, ongoing issues. I feel mildly feverish/headaches most of the time. My literal Baby Boomer parents don't seem to be ill at all, beyond usual sickliness from this time of year.

Actually, I have felt it mildly harder to breathe.

There was a COVID-19 scare in one segment of my workplace, so they quarantined the area for the day. The guy was vetted for a stomach virus or a flu or something not COVID-19.

More recently, there was another scare that's entailed an indefinite closure of at least two other segments of my workplace.

I can't tell if I have a very slight sore throat or I'm developing hypochondria, but I also had intermittent and mild chest tightness/shortness of breath/pseudodysphagia.

Seems to be an outside-my-room phenomenon, really. Driving to and from work, it seems cool air helps? If it's a stress reaction or hypochondria, it'd be a placebo.
I get this when I go to work too, I do believe it's just hypochondria though (although I just assume it's only a matter of time before I get it at work). When I start to feel really anxious my temperature even goes up a little, but as soon as I go home and decon and take a shower I feel fine.

Not a good time for people who have even mild hypochondria.

One of my coworkers tested positive. Not someone I have ever really worked with but still. She's recovering ok last I heard, however her father who has it is not doing well and is in serious condition at the hospital.

Hope all the sick kiwis are on the mend soon!

Please tell me you're not using ibuprofen... there is enough evidence that ibuprofen is lowering immune responses such that people are getting sicker when they use it. At this point, just use acetaminophen. If this is Corona-chan, ibuprofen could be dangerous. Friend's son is a physician, and he said the current evidence is compelling enough that going with acetaminophen for now is not stupid.

Ibuprofen/NSAIDs inhibits prostaglandin production - great when you have regular pain or inflammation, bad if you have a virus or bacteria. They work well if you have a systematic disease like Lupus, not helpful if you're healing from a viral infection.
Inflammation is good if it's normal, healthy and fighting something. You need to allow your prostaglandins to float around naturally, even if it's uncomfortable, they help your platelets function normally - you sick niggers need that.

They gave me a naproxen prescription in the ER. I have stopped taking it and switched to Tylenol. I should not have taken it in the first place because I only recovered from iron deficiency anemia in December and now have an issue with B12. I was too ill to remember to mention that. I thought maybe it was ok for a few days since the iron loss was cured. But I am glad I stopped using it anyway.

I've spent the past two weeks in isolation with my fiance because we were both sick as fuck; tests have fortunately come back negative and for me, it's just a dry cough and the flu, my partner is currently trying not to drown in his own phlegm, which isn't a coronavirus symptom, but forced isolation is entirely what you make of it and what you have to do with your free time.

You can either be miserable or take advantage of the free time to have fun and/or catch up on the things you've been meaning to do.

That being said, I have to fly back to Canada soon and go through screening and then another two weeks of quarantine because I'm coming from the Schengen region. I'll let KF know how screening goes and what it's all about.

My neighbors are disgusting (shitting on the floor, smonking lots of weed, etc) and that's making me gag, plus I chugged a 2 liter of Cóke Zero and all the nutrasweet gave me diarrhea, but thats kinda a normal Saturday for me.

I have my normal allergies but I feel pretty fucking energized by not having work, bills, responsibilities whatsoever for awhile.
