Since when does Dr. Acton have the authority to sign stay at home orders? Dewine you damn fool, thats YOUR job.

You expect people to follow this when you are not testing anybody. People think there are only 350 cases because you keep dropping the ball. Nobody is going to listen to this. Get testing in order first dammit, give people a reason to listen! If we really need that stay in place order, nobody will listen because you are not giving us information.

Also, pizza delivery is excempt. What a pathetic order. Food delivery is not essential in a real crisis.

The original number was wrong (too high.) And then the new number was also wrong (way too low.)

Anyways, another 107 new cases in PA today. A week ago that would be a huge news story, now its just another day.

I'm the same way with the local numbers. At first I was glued to the numbers until I just accepted it's here and it's everywhere, now I don't check as often.

I've noticed a lot of people here who are still unable to grasp that once it's here it's not really something you can outrun. I think part of it is because this is a coastal town and our frame of reference for emergencies is hurricanes, where you can move inland and be better off. This isn't like that. A lot of people just can't accept that nowhere can be life as usual right now.

  • Gov. Mike DeWine issues “stay-at-home” order. The order will take effect at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, and will last through at least April 6.
  • Ohioans may leave home for essential activities. This includes shopping for food, supplies and medicine, and taking care of family members.
  • Non-essential businesses will close, but restaurants offering carry-out services will remain open.
  • Residents are also allowed to go outside, but they are not permitted at playgrounds.
  • State officials will release the full details of the “stay-at-home” order online shortly.
  • “We are at an absolutely crucial time in this war, and what we do now will make all the difference in the world,” DeWine said.
  • Child day cares will be limited to six children per room, starting March 26. This measure will last through at least April 30.
