If this were just any everyday overweight person, I’d tell you you were a sociopath for saying that and I’d mean it. A glutton is not the worst thing in the world someone can be and I feel really scared and sad that the US population is at risk because so many people are overweight.

Given that this is someone who has literally made an entire career out of encouraging young women to ignore sound advice from healthcare providers and encourage a lifestyle that puts young women at risk of diabetes and lifelong health issues and tries to make it look glamorous, I can’t say I share your feelings but I don’t feel like schaudenfreude is entirely unwarranted here.

If I were to make an analogy, it’s a little similar to someone who profits off of selling tobacco and vaping products getting the wuflu. They have directly contributed and profiteered off of exacerbating ill health in others in a way that’s directly related to our current public health crisis.

It's not as if we're not all panicked or at least incredibly worried, too, for many reasons. However, this is a woman who's preemptively blaming overworked, at-risk medical staff and "society" for her inability to fight off a virus due to the abject gluttony that she crows about at every opportunity. She attacks anyone who rejects her narrative while her health has been rapidly deteriorating over the last few years as her weight increases by the day. If anything, Corissa is a sociopath, so concerned with her own feelings and ideology and Dr Pepper addiction that she thinks she should be granted more care and resources than people who actually have a fighting chance at survival and who will take care of themselves if they recover.

Also, this bitch just posted a fancy manicure on IG that she got a few days ago. That means she went to a germy nail salon while this whole thing was already in the public consciousness and probably dropped at least $50 on those nails, yet again after audaciously claiming that she was so po' and victimized by the tyranny of reality that she couldn't get a dental exam for a decade (i.e. she refused to get a real job). Let's remember that she just spent about $300 on a facial and skincare, too, and is now whining that people aren't looking to buy ugly, overpriced novelty T-shirts during a global pandemic while J is desperately e-begging like the pig she is.

Any health care worker living in fucking Kansas of all places has plenty of fat people in their life who they'd desperately want to save, if they could. They may even be fat people, themselves--the sheer number of fatties working in health care, of all fields, never ceases to amaze me.

Here's why you're (rightly) fucked in a triage situation, Corissa: Fat people who present with severe Covid-19 symptoms are far more likely to die, no matter what measures are taken to save their lives. There's enough information available now to know that. Diabetics don't do well, either, or people with various cardiac and pulmonary conditions. Nor do people over 70.

Is it ageist to try to save a 30-year-old--but not to treat a 70-year-old--in a triage situation, when you know the 70-year-old's chances of survival are much lower? No. It's tragic; it's heartbreaking; but it is not ageist.

Is it "healthist" to prioritize a non-smoker with healthy lungs over someone who has emphysema or COPD because they've smoked two packs a day for decades? No, it's not.

And it's not "fatphobic" when, confronted with two 35-year-old women--one slim and the other obese--the slim woman gets a ventilator and the fat one gets palliative care to ease her dying. That's because the slim one stands a better chance of survival, period.

Who are doctors going to give priority to when triaging Covid-19 patients? The people who have the best chances of survival--and that's a group that does not include you, Corissa. Or J, for that matter. That's just reality.

And hey, guess what? It doesn't include your mom, either. If things get bad enough--if they get as bad as they are in Italy right now--your mom, who is in her 50s and merely overweight--would not get care, either. How come you're not worrying about her, or anybody else in your family or extended social circle, who might have other conditions besides fatness, and who would also be denied treatment under those circumstances? All I see here is you, fretting about what might happen to you, and how unfair it is to you.

Frankly, Corissa, you're not worth saving, and wouldn't be even at your sister's body weight, because you're a worthless, narcissistic sow who contributes nothing of value to the world--except some tasty schadenfreude at watching you get frantic at the possibility of your own demise. And I'm sure Corissa is digging deep and making donations to help others who will be/are being financially devastated by work shutdowns due to Covid-19. All of those restaurant workers who have helped her stuff her gravelly face, everybody who has worked in a bakery or donut shop where she's stopped to get a fix, and who are now out of work due to shutdowns.

I think Corissa's mostly able to waste money on bullshit because she lives in a reasonably affordable area and doesn't need to put it all toward rent. If she regularly pulls in money from merch sales, YT videos, and IG nonsense like Beyond Yoga sponsored content, she's able to live pretty comfortably. Sometimes I wonder if she still does some feeder porn to supplement her income.

This does nothing to mititgate my general suspicion of the field as often little more than a crutch for self-obsessed neurotic ninnies that over time does nothing to change their behavior but simply turns them into even more self-obsessed even more neurotic ninnies with zero ability to work through a problem without a substitute parent figure paid to talk them through normal human feelings they should have learned to deal with by early adulthood.

As for Jay ... yes dear, being super-morbidly obese IS an pre-existing condition for all sorts of reasons. And right now I couldn't give a single shit. Time to pay the piper for your moronic choices and self-indulgent ideology, maybe. As someone above said, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. This is the first time the concept that actions bring consequences have become apparent to these two pampered adult babies and it's clear it scares them.

Therapy is effective in the beginning and with reducing severe symptoms. However, the learning effect tapers off after a while and unless you religiously repeat what you learned, you won't make it past a certain point. Long therapy has no value. There is only so much a therapist can teach and the patient has to learn to apply what he learned in real life without the help of the therapist. Anything past two years is basically futile, because what hasn't been learned in two years won't be learned in five either. That's just my own experience though.

Not being able to waddle through an airport without having to stop and catch her breath several times, and feeling absolutely trashed by the time she got to her destination, should have been a wake-up call for her. That was horrifying. Any sane person would come out of that experience thinking, "Holy shit, I'm in trouble; I've got to do something about this."

Instead, Corissa made some feeble excuse about how she's had occasional shortness of breath for a long time--which I took as her way of telling her followers that she had it even before she was hugely fat, so therefore it couldn't possibly be her fatness that was causing it.

Corissa desperately wants to believe that none of her obvious health problems--her shortness of breath, her aches and pains, her fatigue, her gravelly skin, her getting injured much more severely than a thinner person would under the same circumstances, and her slower/incomplete healing from those injuries--have anything to do with her body mass. She's working overtime trying to sell herself, as well as others, on the fantasy that there are no consequences whatsoever to being fat, other than bigotry from stupid, shallow, fatphobic Thins, or ignorant, fatphobic doctors who don't really know anything being needlessly cruel to her.

I mean, look at how she described her fears--that a fatphobic medical system would decide her fat self was worthless and deny her medical care if she needed it for severe Covid-19 symptoms, for no other reason than hatred of fat people.

She can't allow herself to admit that fat people, even with aggressive care, are far more likely to die, that their fatness actually plays a key role in that, and that no matter how hard health care workers try to save fat people, the odds of success are poor.

No--fat people are just as healthy as Thins! Corissa has made it to 35, when people were predicting she wouldn't see her 32nd birthday--that means she's healthy! Healthier than some Thin who is no doubt weakened by the chronic semi-starvation required to keep her that way! But, because of fatphobia, that Thin will get the last ventilator while Corissa is left to die.
