I mean, ISWV and KV are two sides of the same coin (I think someone already said that here, but whatever). It's pretty funny that we have extremes on both sides, but spergs are less dangerous than literal pedos, liars, and fujoshits.

At least one literal pedo existed in ISWV, possibly two. That said, it's surprising that there appears to be less of those - and other degenerates like diaper furs - on ISWV than KV, considering their primary difference (in the anime fan sphere, lawtwiter and random woketwitter doesn't count) is which dub guy they think is a super predator.

IIRC, only one pedo existsed on ISWV. The only other one in ISWV was our mascot sped CWC. The only other worst thing after those was Spirit Jr. But that's it. They may be speds, but they're not THAT unbearable.

Some people use humour to talk about events they otherwise wouldn't feel comfortable discussing. I'm sure most people here are considerate of the victims, even if they might not explicitly mention it.

Monica has been involved with actual abusers on more than one occasion to the point where it does make me worry about the safety of kids involved within anime communities. From what I've been hearing from those who do frequent anime conventions, over the past few years con organizers have been trying to make everything nice and clean in order to make it more "family friendly". I do see some obvious problems with this because anime does have a fair amount of content that isn't suitable for children AT ALL. This just might make it easier for predators to get away with it, since all they need to do is have the right kind of political views to appease the higher ups.

There's also something that doesn't really get touched upon is how yaoi fangirls try to recruit girls as young as 9 into their groups. Now they use the LGBT positivity stuff to lure more girls in. I know it might seem weird for me to say but I have seen this happen a fair amount online.

Nothing is confirmed. Nick stated on a show that someone claiming to be Ron's nephew reached out to him. So Ron supposedly molested his nephew. But no one knows if he has a nephew... nor is there a way to confirm if whoever made the claim was really who he said he was. That was the reason Nick never came forward with the info before. Although he had hinted a family member reached out to him about Ron's abusive behavior a long time ago.

It's mostly rumors, Ron matching the type, the fact that he appears to have used his position of power over other people multiple times to pressure them into a relationship with him (he used to be Monica's landlord or something like that before they got together, threatened his last wives with bodily harm if they didn't do what he wanted , and the Yost twins lived with Monica and him at one point and one of them worked with Toye when they gave their affidavit).

And Nick mentioned once something that insinuated that Ron had abused of a younger relative.

I treat most things here as a joke unless it's explicitly said or shown to be serious. It's clear that cons becoming more akin to grooming dens for them catch kids and it's horrifying. This pedo panic has only created a safe haven for them and this deal with the higher ups protecting them is because they themselves are guilty of such acts. I don't think it's just Vic having the wrong political opinions and being an outsider that scares them, I think he would have gone on the offensive for once in his life if he did see how depraved people in the community have become.

This deal with making thinks family friendly is a complete delusion because those people are the most repressed and/or sickest people around because kids can tolerate a few snippets of mature content although prolonged exposure is not something I'd condone. On the flipside, the main LGBT community has unironically become what the church warned people about but it's really just a case of the pot calling the kettle black, I am not a fan of seeing people using their victim card to do such sick shit and they can use that against me because I am bi myself and I would not stand for Kids being exposed to that kind of degeneracy EVER! I do wonder if it would be time to even get the FBI's attention to this because it's clear that the Anime con community is getting worse and I don't want to see more kids or adults for that matters sake get sexually assaulted at Cons.

I think that anime doesn't mix well with some people because of how foregin views on some subjects, especially erotica or ecchi are incompatible and from my own opinion, that people in the west still have a "sex is evil" mentality, even after society has become more secular in the west.

And as for Monica, this is the reason why I wouldn't bat an eyelip if she was the victim of abuse of any thing because she's been in bed with so many of them that she can bloody well stay in it, it takes a certain kind of evil woman for me to even wish that on them and I am VERY opposed to that happening unless lines have been cross, not a line but lines.
