Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

You know I kinda want to suggest a Poll for guessing who will own the Star Wars IP at the end of the year.
The Mouse will drag it down with them for one more year as the get closer and closer to bankruptcy
Lucas will buy it back for a fraction of what he sold it for
Apple will end up owning it after buying Disney
etc.

I posted this in the Star trek thread, but this also works for Rey and the reason they're trying to resurrect Ashoka.

I really really really really really hope Disney fires it's entire marketing department and puts in new rules to not to fucking listen to every whim social media has.

The SW story team had nothing but YA Book Authors who wrote badly conceived story plots and didn't think the logic of the conflict and universe though, which is what the video clip complains about.

Between all the sunk costs and the unanticipated loss of tourism due to COVID-19, Galaxy's Edge is starting to look more like a white elephant that won't appeal to the average SW fan or Disney visitor. Even if the property gets retooled for a different Disney-held franchise, it won't change the fact that Galaxy's Edge never got any sort of return on investment for all the potential, hype, and money that went into it.
Not to mention the multi-million dollar animatronics constantly crashing to the point where they're being replaced by 2D screens, the damages to computers and sets due to heavy rains last year, not enough merch, how cheap Chapek is, and the most obvious is the park not being based on anything from the franchise. This had doom written all over it from the get-go. The fact that sources from last year said that GE's future depended entirely on its performance during February and March makes the current happenings all the more relevant. The under-performance and Corona have put the mark of renovation upon this park. It was a moronic venture by idiots who don't understand the brand or its audience. Just wanting to do whatever the fuck they wanted. I mean, its like if you made a Harry Potter land based on a town from that setting no one ever heard of that's some magic town in China that has nothing to do with Harry Potter except for a few static set props like a poster for Hogwarts and a few brooms on display labeled (UK-model brooms).
They did resell Power Rangers after somehow managing to fuck that up which Saban literally bought back for pennies compared to what he initially sold it to them.

I wish it were so easy, but the problem is that the ownership of Power Rangers is a mixed bag, since in truth its just the translated westernized version of Super Sentai which Disney didn't own. But then again, they were still willing to give up something, so I guess that should hopefully be a good sign. I mean will all these financial losses and cutbacks, downsizing could happen before they consider the idea of selling themselves off, and considering how cheap Chapek is, downsizing could happen to see if that balances them out. Problem is who could they sell SW/Indy/etc too? FOX was the best choice but they're owned by Disney now. Every other company is almost as indifferent and hostile towards fans, if not more so, as Disney. Some keep suggesting WB or Sony, but those sound like terrible ideas based on WB's own questionable decisions as of late and how obviously retarded Sony is. Paramount has been another name I see thrown around, but with how they've been managing Star Trek I have my serious doubts. Finally there's Universal which actually seems somewhat more willing to listen to feedback, but even I'm still skeptical. That just leaves us with maybe Amazon or even Georgy boy again. Georgy boy could definitely buy it back for a fraction of the cost and it would be incredibly profitable considering how much he got for selling it. But the real question is, would he want it back? And if he did, I could see some relief from old fans at first, but then that relief would turn to resentment for him having allowed Disney Wars to even happen in the first place when there were far better people he could've sold the brand to, which again might make him hesitant about keeping/buying it. I'm sure there are other options, but so far George seems to be the only decent one because at best he'll just go back to making merch out of it and take the brand with him to his grave, assuming of course his daughter doesn't completely butcher it again (although to a far less extreme than Disney).
Rex's cameo literally showing what you just wrote and him telling the wipper-snappers he is too old, retired, just want to spend his remaining time with his family and very willing to use a blaster on anyone wanting him to do "one last mission."
But with Filoni involved best to keep Rex out entirely as Filoni will have him do an "one last mission" story arc.
Filoni has said that he has no plans to kill Rex or Ahsoka in almost everything they appear in, despite Rex definitely being past his expiration date at this point (as he's already pushing 80 in Clone Years as of ROTJ, and human lifespans in SW have been reduced in nu-canon, so he's already due with his date with the Reaper). I think he might actually pull some claim that Rex discovers a way to genetically modify himself to live forever. But if that's not the case, then this could be Rex hogging spotlight or him and Ahsoka being the stars of their own series and their appearance being Filoni's backdoor pilot. If their show isn't approved then they will definitely become the new co-stars of the Mandalorian despite taking away from the pre-established characters.

Anyway here is the poll:
Vote for DEMOCRACY!

So, not completely on-topic here, but Cuck Wendig recently chimped out on Twitter because he found out two of his books are available for borrowing on Internet Archive courtesy of the Library of Congress. Several blue checkmarks, dangerhairs and landwhales immediately joined his crusade against any blind or disabled people who'd dare sip from ol' Cuck Wendig's wealth of artistic creativity without coughing up a few dollars into his pocket first.

Here we can see a couple of people fruitlessly trying to bargain a few shekels out of Cuckmammu:

Finally, here's comrade Wendig's take on capitalism when it doesn't concern his own wealth. As a bonus, a screenshot showcasing Wendig's tremendous financial losses: two books listed on the Internet Archive which have amounted a staggering total of 12 views.

I don't mind episodes featuring Ahsoka's whereabouts, but they only narrowed it to twelve episodes, so it feels like unnecessary fluff cutting out the juicy bits.

Put it this way. Numerically of the show, Asohka will be the focus of 75% of the screen time. Not a POV character, but on her own.

If you have the time to listen to some Rebel force Radio, It's pretty clear he has some disdain for that show even if he doesn't outright say it, despite that his series taking a lot of design elements from it. Though that was George originally wanting the show to fill in the gaps of the Microseries, but either out of greed or popularity/ratings Geroge Lucas kept extending the show to like six seasons.

There's supposed to be...three years between attack and revenge? That's more than enough for seven seasons easily. The first CW as tightly focused. Lots of space to cover.

I still can’t wrap around Iger and Kennedy’s idea to pander to the woke progressive SJWs with the What If Trilogy. It was just retadrded.

By the way, since we all know George is the best bet to get back Lucasfilm, I feel like his only involvement if he does decide to buy it back would be handling the finances.

Well...........

Their appearance in Rogue One was... kind of hard to fit with the new canon that Leia's ship ran away directly from the battle.
I really like Rogue One, but a major issue was how many knew of the location and had been to the "hidden Rebel Base" Having R2 and 3PO in the hangar, made no sense, they should have been shown inside the Tantive IV at the very end. The other thing is all of the prisonors the Empire would have captured from the Mon Cal cruiser, they would have tortured them to find out the base location, not to mention the troopers they captured in the beginning of ANH as they would have known about Yavin as well. What actually happened to Admiral Raddus?

Happy meme number, everyone.

All glory to Sheev!
Everyone should post their favorite Palpy to commemorate this historic moment before we reach page 1489.

Also Michael Biehn will be playing a "new character" in the Mandalorian who appears to be an ex-imperial wearing armor from Solo... Some Disney Wars comics are being put on hold, specifically some within IDW, and Marvel won't be releasing physicals except maybe Aphra because "its their hottest SW product"... How the hell did Aphra become one of the most popular characters? Even some anti-Disney fuckers I know love her... You can actually get away with bashing Disney in general but Aphra is always guaranteed to get more defense... Anyway, the not-Kyle Katarn show is still spoken about a bit behind the scenes, specifically "we're totally going to start filming this year or the next! We swear!" while also bragging that they'll be featuring a lot of "underused" OT characters, like Boba Fett... Also Aphra and Shadow the Chewbacca will be paired together again with Shadow the C3PO because they need more wookiee and droid sidekick nostalgia.

Krazy Kolonel Klaud wishes you all a happy 1488th, and reminds you that people really should have listened to his warnings about the diseased slant-eyed filth from the east

Anyway, happy nazi-mayme-number day to all those in isolation from the Rose-Flu, and remember to beat your nearest chinkydink in his memory

As much as people like to rag on the prequels, I'll admit that even the weakest of the prequels gave us good memes and had a song on my favorite Weird Al album when I was a kid.

I don't think the Disney Trilogy will have that kind of cultural staying power in the long run, except maybe as a joke on a VH1 "I Love The 2010's" show or something similar to that.

You keep saying that there's fans of Aphra; Why are you still spreading this lie?

Because you already know by now that this popularity is fake and gay, and it's being spread by the same dishonest liars that claimed to be fans that liked TLJ. They're spiteful crybullies, not fans, and I'd love for you to stop calling them that. Hell, there's no point in calling her popular, because any online mentions are manufactured by the low level idiots in Lucasfilms' marketing wing, I fucking guarantee it.

Outside of some shitty subreddits, no one really knows who she is, and her continuously collapsing numbers even by the failure that is comics' standards is telling. Stop saying she's popular... she really isn't.
