Hell if he was a real weeb he would have already know that a shitload of people have already documented the schools that were featured in anime. You have fans who have taken drones and have gotten perfect top down aerial shots of an entire school campus. The best known case is all the stuff that was documented from the school that was in Haruhi Suzumiya. People triangulated the rotoscoped references and other landmarks and were able to pinpoint the school because of the episode that mentioned she painted the star on the roof. There was only one school in the entire area that had the roof in such a way that would allow a large painting to be painted on it. Same shit that happened when people wanted to find the shrine that was featured in Lucky Star, the animators had the specific statue featured on the shrine and people were able to find the shrine and the school near by.

People also did this to games like Persona 5.

Silent Hill contains the school from Kindergarden Cop, if you redress something people really don't notice. There'a also hundreds of schools to pick from, you could mix and match stuff from assorted blueprints. Japanese Schools tend to have the same classroom layout and are far more uniform.

I'll provide them with some of my shitty commentary too:

Although the screenshot was from 2018, this one is fine. There might be volunteers who are complaining that didn't get credited, but these were likely in the past but still Cleveland's claims are understandable especially that the hate for the game was rising at the time.

This one is either Cleveland being misinformed/didn't know much about the assets or at the time all the assets in the 2018 build were actually original and not stolen. Moving on....

So tl;dr version:
1. Alex doesn't want to credit a lot of people because people who get associated with the game get harassed, some volunteers want to remain anonymous and eventually volunteers who did small thing for the game will later get credited.
2. According to Cleveland, the assets in November 2018 build (quote unquote, "everything") were original or what Alex bought the rights to.
3. To Cleveland, Alex works too much and was very depressed. And also unmotivated. He doesn't think Alex is lying about depression.
4. Cleveland thinks a lot of people have a stupid idea of what criticism is, such as "calling him a pedophile" or how Alex's code is shit.
5. There's only one screenshot as an example of Alex losing it, to Cleveland, it's unfortunately what happens if he received the same question over and over.

I don't even recall if he said it in general or specifically about secretaries, but part of PR is handling e-mails, so close enough.

Considering Eva gets tons of online exposure and probably thousands of e-mails a day, I don't understand how he refuses to hire someone. Any other indie dev in his position would, if only just so they can get back to actually developing shit. If he's so unwilling to pay cash for someone out of fear of being misrepresented, he could just get a friend to- oh right.
