which is insane because he's had his fans telling him to sell them his shit for years but he just refuses.

i'm not sure the court or creditors will look into this at all, but the price his piggies would be willing to pay if he signed the stuff or whatever would probably increase the price non-negligibly.
If the court forces liquidation, it’s quite often by auction.

I'm sure all of his crap would be mixed in with a bunch of other people's stuff, but I would like to imagine an auction house full of paypigs and detractors bidding on Dave's crap.

There's no reason they can't show up and bid. I'm sure there would be at least a few trying to pick up some pigroach memorabilia on the cheap.

DSP is Moe Greene - he buys people out, he doesn't get bought out.

DSP probably doesn't sell his statues for the same reason he doesn't just sell his house or car - he would see that as a personal failing.

Don’t discount the role his entitled attitude plays. He DESRVES his house, car, gin and collectibles! He EARNED those things, how DARE you suggest he should get rid of any of it!

He doesn't sell his collectibles because he's tired all the time from bad sleep/lack of sleep, he has a full-time jahb, a drinking habit, and an inability to be away from his collectible sweaty near-naked men for very long (those sorts of games generally have some sort of 'stamina' that has to be expended to do anything, slowly replenishes for free over time, and more can always be purchased) and he's the type of person to make everything sound like a Herculean chore. Especially if it's something he's never done before, just taking him out of his comfort zone drains his mental energy at a frightening rate. For him to sell the collectibles, he'd have to research online what each and every piece of plastic crap is worth, list them all, pack them all, and ship them all. He's already decided that it's just too much work for him to handle.

And since Phil doesn't derive personal enjoyment from most of that crap anymore because he doesn't actually like video games anymore, and since he has already decided that it's too difficult to sell them to collect on their value, it has no value to him. And because he's such a narcissist and possible autist with no ability to see things from anyone else's perspective, obviously he can't possibly understand why anyone else would be interested in it either. And since no one cares about, obviously there's no need to include it in his bankruptcy paperwork, right?

Considering that no real creditors showed for the meeting, I think Chapter 13 is the favorite now. Nancy doesn't want this dismissed, she gets ~10% of those Ch. 13 plan payments and she knows that Phil has a 99.9% chance of failing which forces equity sold and more $$$. That has to be at least $500/month.

Rochelle should really tell Phil not to agree to Ch. 13, though. I don't believe she gets any more payments, and she has to know Phil will fuck that up now.

If he doesn't agree to 13, doesn't that lead to dismissal?

Goodbye house, hello Raquel rant.

The lawyer fucked up! She told me I wouldn't lose the house but she was lazy and didn't do anything so I lost the house. She was lazy and lumped everything together and didn't provide the right information. I did everything correct, I did nothing wrong.

Maybe he'll even call her a thief for taking his $1200 and doing nothing even if the contract said as much.

Correct. They can't directly force you into a 13 but if they decide that's where it's going, you get that or nothing. I.e. you can choose to let your Chapter 7 get dismissed and just cope, or "consent" to a conversion to Chapter 13.

Making potentially libellous statements about a lawyer where anyone can easily find it and forward it to her does sound like a very Phil thing to do.
