To be fair and even Nick said this, Jamie always had the weakest case going against her since most of the slander came from Ron, Monica and to a lesser extent, Funimation. I mean, those two tweets about Vic and harassment pretty much implicated them. Then there’s the texts between Slatosch and Monica/Ron where they tried to get Vic disinvited from Kamehacon. Jamie wanting Vic beheaded and castrated isn’t honestly strong enough, although it does make a strong case of her being a soulless cretin.

Speaking of Nick, he will be going over one of those briefs tonight.

I love how they attempt to assiciate "innapropriate sexual actions" (adultery, cheating) with Criminal sexual actions. (Rape etc). Not disingenious at all.

Is it a really good idea for the defendants to use Huber's statements? It would first of all imply that, despite Chump ignoring it, the second amended petition counts as the defendants themselves acknolwedge it. Secondly, the rest of Huber's statements in no way make Funimation an innocent party.

You have to remember there are four defendants. The Second Amended Petition (especially Slatosch's declaration) is absolutely devastating for MoRon, but doesn't change much for Funimation or Marchi. In fact, the fact that Funimation cites Chuck's statement means they even think it helps them.

MoRon don't want the 2AP in because it absolutely buttfucks them. Funimation wants it included because they seem to think it helps them.

Funimation is throwing MoRon under the bus.

Jamie "stands with her friends" Marchi will be laughing all the way to the bank while MoRon goes bankrupt, but to be honest I wouldn't be as upset if she got away then I would be if MoRon got off. While she was still an insufferable bitch, and I die on the inside knowing that she voiced Ristarte from Cautious Hero, MoRon, specifically Ron, was such an asshole that if everyone else gets off the hook, he alone needs to stay.

It could be weirdly deliberate. If Ron and Monica are in but they aren't, and aren't on the hook for anything they did, they can wash their hands of the whole situation and trust that Vic will spend his fury on them instead of Funi.

Going through Funimation's brief. One thing that stood out to me was Funimation using the presupposed fact that Vic is a public figure, which in turn goes back to Chupp's ruling, which basically "lul Lane v Phares."

The appeals court will go through that on their own and decide. They don't have much from Chupp to go on but they wouldn't be bound by it even if the record wasn't as Chupped up as it is.

So Funi shifted all the blame on the other 3 stooges and Jamie having the weakest case will probably get out scot-free (reputation aside but that's hardly enough),
Will wait optimistically just to see the infighting ensues, as aside from Jamie, the other idiots don't have weak cases and the Eternally Engaged Morons are the ones with the most to lose, guess Funi will try to settle in the end to avoid further damages in the long run while the 2 idiots will likely die on their hill like they always wanted.

Supposedly Sam Johnson is going full sped, so Jamie is going from escaping this easily to the right weasel words will trap her in the lawsuit. That said, unless Martinez is hyper competent, Jamie is gonna escape.
