Snowflake Chloe Wilkinson / DissociaDID and Nanette Zuniga / Nan / TeamPinata

This is terrible. It makes me almost physically ill how selfish and narcissistic it could be to say something like this to someone suffering from a grave, potentially terminal illness. I don’t want to TMI, but I’ve been admitted to a psych ward when I went to the ER. It wasn’t glamorous, I didn’t feel good about it and I would never in my wildest dreams think my problems outweighed someone who had a medical emergency to remove a cancerous tumor growing by the hour. What a fucking twat.

I do wonder if Chloe has been in a psychiatric hospital. She's talked about being hospitalized after suicide attempts, and something a nurse mentioned is what made her suspect she had DID. (Thanks a lot random nurse.) But afaik, she's never talked about being hospitalized in a psych ward. Which would be odd. I don't know how things work in the UK, but suicide attempts (especially if you're telling people openly that's what it was) almost always result in mandatory hospitalization. Health insurance or no, you're going in for a week or two and they'll bill ya later.

You'd think it'd be something she'd make a video about if she had. Nan has made a couple of videos about her own experiences... Which are a trip to watch between a roommate snapping at her because they couldn't take another second being around one of her child alters and a doctor molesting Jeremy while checking for self-harm scars. 😕

ETA:
Looks like there's some indirect evidence to suggest the trauma that resulted in Nan becoming homeless and Ace being "kidnapped" was the result of Sam getting involved with a couple of teenage alters who were pursuing him romantically.

Don't Nan and Chloe have relationships between their own underage alters?

Been reading this whole thing for the past few days and came across this earlier. Figured I'd join and post it.

Kinda makes the whole 'daddy misses you thing' way creepier

Just want to say, I think Nan is actually suffering from severe mental illness. Her sneezing fetish aside. This woman is demonstrably unwell and deserves proper treatment. Chloe, I believe, is purely pursing a career and caught a very sick, very desperate woman up in her ambitions. I want to see these things regarded as differently, because I think they are.

At the risk of TMI, they took me up there and it was more or less out of my control at that point. They woke me up for blood samples in the middle of the night to make sure I wasn’t under any influence. Then the next morning, if you’re sober and competent, the psychiatrist makes their rounds and individually reviews each patient and their medications and takes them on. But there’s a lot of bullshit bureaucracy from that.

Wait, how does a doctor molest Jeremy but not Nan? And where was this doctor looking for self harm scars besides the obvious ones on their arm?

Everyone deserves proper treatment. Nan definitely doesn't need a platform as a mental health advocate and educator, though. She's a mess and an entire fanbase drawing fanart of her alters and shipping her with Nan can only make her worse.

From the outside looking in, it seems like a bunch of people have tried to help her. Seems like BPD is her main problem, not DID. She'd rather listen to enablers willing to indulge her elaborate fantasy life than get her shit together in a more constructive way. I pity her, but I don't have a lot of patience for her behavior either.

Someone compared Chloe and Nan's relationship to a discount Heavenly Creatures. Which seems about right. Eventually, there's gonna be some sort of codependent implosion with those two.

Jeremy had "switched in."

Well, they usually check your upper and inner thighs. It also looks like Nan has self-harm scars on her chest, so I imagine there were quite a few places to check.

This reminds me of another point. In the psych unit they see alot of shit. People hearing voices isn't unusual at all and can be from a number of things including BPD, a severe manic episode, psychoschizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia. DID isn't supposed to be diagnosed in the psych unit by doctors who see you for such a short amount of time so why would a doctor jump to such an unusual and rare diagnosis when Borderline or Bipolar mania are much more common and easily explain her symptoms at that time?

In the OP Reddit caps Sam mentions that Nan tried to pursue a teenager alter (Kit I think) in her friends system for a sexual relationship which caused a lot of trouble. She was already in a relationship with Chloe at the time and apparently Chloe was horrified. But I know Nadia is 17 and dating Lacy who I think is 19 or came from a character who was 19. Nin is in a sexual relationship with Riven who came from Evan who was 16 pre-integration. So it's odd that Nan would be so hypocritical.

Personally, I don't view their child or teen alters as real children and teens for two reasons. Firstly, I believe they're faking or misled by therapists into thinking they have DID. Secondly, even if they did have DID they aren't real children. They're in the bodies of adults and those bodies have adult brains so no matter how much hand flapping and lisping they pull out they literally cannot reverse adult brain development.

Now would I fuck someone pretending to be a child? No. Do I think it's creepy that they fuck around as children moreso combined with their fascination with childish things and childish bodies? Absolutely and that is what I have the problem with.
I'm not concerned for their wellbeing as they're adults and are capable of consent* but I'm concerned about the mindset of people who sexualise children and teenagers. I'm concerned that they have an impressionable audience largely made up of adoring tweens who are being subtly introduced to some warped concepts. Not to moralfag but I'm seeing them set a dangerous precedent.

*I do think Nan is so unwell she might actually have reduced capacity but that's another can of worms and her predatory conduct makes me give less of a fuck about that.

I think that goes without saying, you're right. No one mutilates themselves to that degree without some underlying issue but that issue just isn't DID. As someone above stated BPD is more likely the issue along with a mild case of munchies in my opinion. I think Nan is most likely a predator of some sort so my sympathy for her is limited. I think she belongs in a psych unit rather than on the internet.

Another cause is literally just having thoughts and being too retarded to realise that's perfectly normal. The way Chloe describes her voices literally just sounds like she has an active inner voice

I forgot all about that movie and how goddamn good it was. Nice reference.

I'm just going through the videos I've archived so I can summarise them all briefly and at 03:01 she states that being born can be traumatic. Please, tell me her trauma was her own birth.
Being born can definitely be physically traumatic (for example if your umbilical cord got around your neck and you got strangled), but mentally, and to the point of causing "DID"? Absolutely not lmao. And whatever happened to the "repeated trauma"?

As someone above stated BPD is more likely the issue

Edit: Nan has (been diagnosed with?) BPD

If the psychiatrist deems you unwell or unfit for release, the hospital can hold you for an undetermined time until you have a more specialized crew oversee your care. Medicare, state funded mental health orgs, in patient-out patient programs. But it’s really up to the psychiatrist who talks to you to make recommendations for your care.

Physically traumatic I'm sure but no one remembers their birth. Birth trauma is definitely a thing for Mothers but what newborn baby has the cognitive ability to record long term memory and suffer emotional damage? They can't even hold their heads up unsupported.
In the same video she says that 'falls' could be traumatic too. So by her logic if you have ever been born and have fallen over in the playground a few times you can develop DID.

I also find it interesting how she pauses on 'religious' trauma in that video and does her weird pursed lip intense stare to highlight the significance of what she's saying. It'll be her otherwise supportive parents saying they don't approval of her being a lesbian because Jesus said so, then. But surely she wasn't running around claiming to be a lesbian age seven? The only time she's hinted that her parents haven't been supportive is in regards to her sexuality and she says that you can't develop DID unless you have a poor relationship with parents and trauma before seven. Surely she wouldn't have had someone calling her a hell bound dyke until at least her early teens.

As for Nan's BPD I knew she'd been diagnosed (probably via BetterHelp) but I meant she was more likely to be facing issues related to that than DID.

I had to attach the pics..random but I noticed that these two videos were filmed on the same day, but published on two different days . One is with Jade and the other is with Kyle "co-con" . Everything is the same..where she filmed, her makeup her hair the lighting, everything. It's just odd that she would film 2 different videos with 2 different "alters" the same day. No recovery time. And she was negatively triggered by trauma in the "littles" vid with Jade then just record about the innerworld and conveniently Kyle is there. Shes not tired, she just Carrie's on as Chloe with another topic like nothing happened. Just sus.

Chloe wasn't diagnosed in a hospital. It was a nurse that brought up DID, putting the idea in her head.

She paid to go to the Pottergate Center that specializes in DID. Chloe says the director of the facility, Remy Aquarone diagnosed her. I'm not sure how, though. He's a psychotherapist. i.e. a therapist with a fancy title. He's not licensed to make a diagnosis.

Freudian psychotherapy gets a serious side eye from modern, double blind testing psychology.

They've got one consultant psychiatrist who probably dishes out the 'official' diagnosis. I'm not sure if this is something I'm misremembering but I thought there had to be more than one practitioner involved in diagnosing a patient with DID though. They've got the full list of staff on their website. I've been meaning to look into the background of each of these.

REMY AQUARONE: (Centre Director) is an Analytical Psychotherapist, member of UKCP, BPC and a Former Director of ISSTD. He is also a past President of ESTD.

DR VALERIE HAWES: Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, MRCPsych. member of BPC.

RUTH CLARKE : is a Psychotherapist with UKCP and BACP.

SHIRLEY DE MARCO : is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with BACP.

HILARY FREEMAN : is a Psychotherapist, registered with the BACP

SUSIE PHILLIPS: is a Psychotherapist, registered with the BPC.

WYNNE MACGREGOR: is a Psychotherapist, registered with the UKCP

JUDY WILLIAMS: is a Consultant Psychotherapist, registered with BACP

MICHELE FISK : is the Centre Administrator.

Yea I honestly Wonder what her parents think seeing her videos? Is she accusing them without coming out and saying it? It just seems to me like her trauma doesn't fall in the age range that she stresses and she likely just had a mental breakdown in her teens/ early twenties, when most mental health issues become obvious. Unless she's adopted or something? Yet she's said before that she likes hanging out with family and friends, so if someone else in her family molested her or something that would be an odd statement to make. There are too many inconsistencies in her timeline and story. She honestly just seems like a girl who wanted a "cool" disorder for attention and now she's in over her head and really believes it. It's just so bothersome that millions of people believe this horseshit and don't see any signs that this is bonkers!
