Wasn't there a story about kids calling her names while throwing tomatoes at her? For some reason, I feel like she alluded to that being the horrible story that made her grow up hating humanity.

I agree when people say she won't lift a finger when it comes to moving furniture. She wanted movers originally and was pissed that they couldn't just wear masks and do it. Now she has to find a few schmucks to do it for her bc Lord knows she can't even cross a parking lot without dying. Let alone climb stairs (with anything in her hands no less, we've all witnessed/heard her demand Bibi to bring the groceries in from the car while she 'films a haul'). This is all to say if she's able to move. Bibi might actually be stuck with her for awhile. No going out, no fast food, no nothing. Everything's closing and people are being forced to hunker down. She won't have anything to soothe those anxious feels with except boxes of insta stuffing and mashed potatoes. Those aren't near as satisfying as a huge feast of Mcdicks when the beast comes out. Bibi better be hiding his own prep stash under the floors under lock and key because she's gonna go apeshit when a true lockdown goes into effect. Eating everything in sight in a panic. If Bibi had any sense he would have taken off before the medical procedure. Even now, how hard would it be for him to set up temporary shelter at a friend or coworkers place before the lockdowns occurred and GTFO for the rest of the lease, making the remaining payments as necessary? He shouldnt even be there. I'd choose living in the back of a car over living with Chantal.

Peetz has been steadily employed for quite a while, and other than the occasional comics/manga or date with Chantal, he probably lives cheaply. He doesn't have a car, doesn't seem to travel anywhere, and obviously isn't spending much on clothing or personal grooming. He probably doesn't cook at all, but given that he has a sedentary job at a call center and isn't a massive fatty, spending a lot of money on food isn't his thing, either.

So he could very well have savings, as well as decent credit. And while I don't know about Canada, furniture stores here in the US are constantly advertising their "No Money Down! Zero Interest for 90 Days!" financing plans. Maybe they got a similar deal, with "easy" store credit terms (which allowed them to justify going $1000 over budget).

So maybe he's the one whose credit and savings are financing most, if not all, of the move-in expenses, and who has signed for store credit to buy the furniture. Chantal's no doubt told him some story about how she was caught off-guard by Bibi wanting her to move out, and thus doesn't have the money needed to move, but promises she'll be able to pay her share once they're moved. Who the fuck knows.

What I do know is that Chantal will be dead useless when it comes to moving any of the furniture because she weighs more than any of the furniture. That ought to be fucking hilarious; too bad nobody will be filming it.
