Bernie appeared on The View today, and Whoopi Goldberg confronted him about focusing on his campaign over his duties as a senator during this national crisis. Bernie reacted as anyone would expect: Like an angry old man yelling at the sky. LOL.

Of course the Bernie Babies are sperging about it, even though Whoopi brought up a really good point. Bernie wasn't there to even vote for the Coronavirus relief bill the first time around (did he even vote for the other bill? I know he threatened to delay it at the very least).

Bernie Babies can whine and cry all they want about how the media is shilling Joe Biden. I'll agree that they are ... But the shilling for Biden doesn't erase how BAD of a candidate Bernie actually is. He's losing to Biden among the average voter because he just plain sucks that much more. The media didn't even have to do much shilling for Biden, as it turns out. The media didn't force Bernie to ignore his duties as senator on voting for an important bill, and the media didn't force Bernie to double down on praising communist countries.

So, are the Dems still trying to find a different candidate or will they be stuck with Joe?

I read the other day that "insiders within the Biden campaign" are saying they do not expect for Joe to "make it" to November, whether that be about his physical or mental health. These are just rumors, though ... So right now it's just hearsay to take with a grain of salt.

If I had to guess, I think the DNC wants Biden to make it to the convention. Whoever Biden picks as VP will become the new nomination shortly after. That way, the Dems would get a candidate that went through no type of obstacle, debate, primary, or vetting process, which works in their favor at this point. The longer the Dem candidates put themselves out there over this past year, the less appealing and viable they became.

Doing that would just give more ammo for the bernie babies

Who cares? lol. The Bernie Babies are delusional and insignificant. Loud, but insignificant. Bernie will bend over once the convention happens; he's already said he would.

Bernie has proven himself to be less viable than a senile Joe Biden.

In that case, who the fuck do the Dems have left to replace Joe?

Over the past few weeks, a lot of Democrats have been shilling for Andrew Cuomo ... But that hype has since died down quite a bit. Cuomo has been caught in a lot of lies about his relief efforts for New York over the past week, and New York is kind of a disaster right now. Cuomo made himself not-so-viable in a very short span of time.

There's also always Hillary again. Do I think the DNC is that stupid to push her forward again? Yes, I absolutely think so. Warren is a possibility as well since that would be a half-assed way for the DNC to reach out to the "far left progressives/Bernie Babies" and to appeal to the "it's time for a WAMEN POTUS" dimwits.

Let's say that Joe doesn't make it to the convention, and Bernie becomes the nomination by default. The DNC would be absolutely fucked in that case. There's no way he'd beat Trump, especially after how he's acted as Senator during this crisis.

I think that altogether, the DNC screwed themselves. I can't think of anyone popular or viable enough, unless ...

I think that the most viable option for Joe Biden as his running mate, honestly, would be Michelle Obama. I think that would get the Democrat voting base a lot more ethusiastic to go out to vote, thus becoming a bigger obstacle for Trump. I'm wondering about the likelihood of that happening, though. The Obamas still haven't come forward with their endorsements for Joe. Perhaps the Obamas are content just getting their millions with Netflix right now? I don't know what exactly is going on with them right now, but let's just say that I haven't ruled the possibility out.

I think many democrats have soured on Barack Obama. He was a bit of a lazy, do-nothing president. He was also a disaster for the party nationally and for the DNC and he's caught flak for that. I don't think people would be excited by Barack Obama's utterly unqualified wife that couldn't even handle school lunches.
Michelle Obama is rolling around in insider trading money, "book deal" payoff money and all that Netflix loot. She'd much rather style and profile with all of that than run for president. I would, too. Michelle Obama isn't even 60 yet. Odd thing to say, but we've got the oldest president ever and the last 4 survivors in a major political party's nomination process were between 70 and 78 years of age. If she ever wanted to get into politics at the national level, goodness, she could be a governor or in Congress for over a decade before running for president...and she might be one of the YOUNGEST CANDIDATES in America's gerontocracy clown fiesta.

Michelle wouldn't want to subject herself to that. Their family is now wealthy, her husband's legacy is intact (in the eyes of the Democrats)- why would she want to take the risk of muddying herself and turning her hair grey?

I think the VP is the Dem's main sticking point now. Biden is going to be a disposable president, no doubt, but he's tied a rope around them due to his slip(?) that the VP was going to be female.

That narrows the contenders considerably (Kamala, Amy, anyone?), unless the Dems are willing to break that rule. I think the party faithful would forgive them for that (just looking at their #votebluenomatterwho beliefs), but it raises moderate eyebrows.

Honestly they'd have a better chance conceeding the presidency, and instead focus on the down-ballot elections, IMO.

Barack Obama has a terrible track record when it comes to getting other Democrats elected. Getting himself elected, though? He was a pro at it. If all the Dems want to do is "defeat the Orange Cheeto Man," then getting an Obama to go toe-to-toe with Trump wouldn't be such a bad idea (considering the options they have left). They might not win congress, but they'd give themselves a significant breather when it comes to the Supreme Court with a Dem POTUS instead of another four years of Trump. There's an incentive for the Dems to go with this, I think.

Michelle Obama is more popular than Barack, too. She consistently had a higher approval rating than Barack did throughout their time in the White House, and the overall opinion of her seems to be much higher than how her husband is viewed these days.

That said, even if the DNC hated Obama's guts, they'd never admit it. I think they'd prefer to stomach the Obama family over another term of Trump, if I had to guess.

All of that said, though ... I don't think it's extremely likely that Michelle would become Biden's running mate (because of how financially successful she has been being a former First Lady over these past three and a half years), but I'm not ruling it out. I wouldn't be surprised if Barack Obama didn't want the family to be in politics anymore, too. That man looked so fucking happy during Trump's Inauguration; he looked glad to be done with it all, and I wouldn't be surprised if he never wanted to spend another night in the White House ever again. So yeah: Not very likely, but I'm not ruling it out at this point in time because it would actually be one of the less idiotic moves the DNC could make for this election.

TFW you have so little faith in the current candidates that people are still desperately pitching new people at the wall, even when that person says they have no interest in running for President and there's barely 6 months left on the clock.

I would love to see Kamala Harris or Stacy Abrams against Vice President Pence in a debate. He's such a cool customer. I don't think Kamala could land an attack on him nor do I think Abrams would be able to drown him out with her verbal fluff.

He's a good foil for the President. Trump will shut you down, but it'll be confrontational. Pence will shut them down gracefully and remain likeable in the process.

To be quite honest, I don't know why Bernie is still in the running at this point. He's a presidential candidate in name only at this point.

Biden's won by default and even with COVID-19 putting all the remaining primaries on hold, the fact is that Biden's won enough votes ahead of Bernie that it'd be nearly impossible to catch up.

The only thing I can think of that makes sense is Bernie holding on until Milwaukee solely so he can get more donations from his loony base and keep them pacified as long as possible.

I want Bernie to keep running just because it pisses off the DNC. I want him to continue to be a thorn in their side for as long as humanly possible. I want the DNC to be forced to pry the nomination from his cold, dead, socialist hands. Basically, I want it to be like this.

I want him to never give up because it's hilarious, and it really annoys the DNC. I know it's not going to happen, because Bernie's ultimately a cuck, but I can dream.

The Bernie Bros are already takling about using the extra time to get Biden out and Bernie in.

DNC ocnvention moved back to Aug 17th. I imagine if not for Bernie, they would have canceled it and just declared it for Biden.
