I have zero doubts some weirdo abusive fuckery was going amongst all these people, but if you think for one second there is enough evidence of this to lock Greg and his Genderblob away you have not been watching this trash-fire.
Greg and Lainey are not going to go to Prison for this. What evidence that does exist could be explained away by a competent lawyer. There is clearly no hard evidence - chat logs and the like - because if there was we would have seen them by now. They would have leaked, or Hansen would have them ready for this interview he ducked.
Onision may have the personality of a tween girl, but he's clearly far more intelligent and calculated than most people give him credit for. He's managed to engineer an existence where he got to play out his sexual fantasys on vulnerable teens, that he attracted from his online fame - which also got him heaps of attention - that also made him stacks of cash. He bought land, a house and has - if I understand correctly - what amounts to "fuck you money" and now he has a horde of people who want to "take him down" that he can laugh at because he knows it won't happen - that reaffirmation of his perceived superiority will make his pp real hard.
The real issue here is that all these normie channels whipped their moral grandstanding fans into a crusade against him, because it was good business. Implicit in that was a promise of a positive outcome, but instead we're just going to see Onision laugh at them because they've got nothing.
If the world existed only on the Internet, you would be absolutely right; he'd have a steady thing going fueled by narcissism and outrage.
But the world exists out of the Internet too. The world is a large place, and Greg can't control any of it.
His neighbors all despise him, the IRS has an invested interest in his wetland acquisition, he called 911 21 times last year, and he made an absolute buffoon of himself in court (both by dressing up in a cheap suit covering an expired bulletproof vest and by suing the wrong Chris Hansen.)
Greg's finances are dwindling too. He might've made a lot of 'fuck you' money before, as all OG YouTube partners have, but he has demonstrated a lack of fiscal responsibility that belies an actual deficit in his bank account (not an act like some come to conclude.) Through his actions alone, Greg has demonetized his videos, shut down his own Patreon and failed to monetize his success into other ventures. He burned any bridges he could've crossed to prolong his success. Even Tyler Oakley, a relic of the YouTube past, still makes more money than Onision.
Greg isn't getting younger either. His choice to use a 3D animation software for porn shows us that he's insecure about his small pudge and wrinkles he can't iron out in Photoshop. He might be smart enough to last this long online, but even he can't escape time.
You're right: Onision isnt dumb. But he is emotionally stunted and unsure of his own future. At this point, Greg's life is now compared to the likes of DSP instead of Shane Dawson.
