Billy's already endorsed a truscum transman asking for commissions for a fursuit

Went onto the blog linked in the post and the first (and only) post was "Please commission me, I need $1800 for a fursuit".
I mean, sure, he's not begging for the money, but... You know, I don't know what I was expecting.

Alternatively, there's art of "Ciel" and "Frankie", two original characters. I genuinely thought this was more Assigned Male fanart when I archived it. I'm still not convinced it isn't somehow.

Can't believe Labill explicitly endorses this by posting a link on facebook asking for commissions. I thought he hated dysphoric transmen.

Alright guys, gonna put on my tinfoil hat here for a moment, but this second comic looks completely different from the first.
Yes, the first still has a lot of Labelle's usually issues but look at these side by side:
Untitled-3.png

The difference in the eyes, in how the mouth attaches, in how the clothes in the first actually have form and fit the character's body, how the first's legs don't go off in the opposite direction, there's a simple background, there's the cartoon no fingers or feet look....
The second one is just AM but with animal faces. Same void, same lazy proportions and slapped on expressions, same everything.
The first one actually has a small bit of charm and looks like it was made with care, or at least a bit more effort. Not gonna lie, they both have problems, but damn to watch all those tiny improvements not even last two full comics is just so damn lazy.

Some people to keep in mind during (and after) the pandemic

1 Sex workers who lose most of their income and cannot receive government support

2 Trans and queer people who are disproportionately affected by immune system and mental health disorders

3 Asian or Asian people who have been victims of countless hate crimes since the start of the crisis

4 And all the people who have a job presenting a high risk of contagion but who continue to work at minimum wage since it is suddenly an "essential job"

So Billy has a sister in law who works in a medical analysis laboratory.

HIV is the most important reason for immune system disorder for trans and queer people.

So get a webcam and an onlyfans account. Technology to the rescue!

2 Trans and queer people who are disproportionately affected by immune system and mental health disorders

Whatever, fuck 'em.

3 Asian or Asian people who have been victims of countless hate crimes since the start of the crisis

Yeah, that sucks. I'm with you on this one, Bilbo.

4 And all the people who have a job presenting a high risk of contagion but who continue to work at minimum wage since it is suddenly an "essential job"

Burgerland may not be typical, but these are the eight lowest-paying jobs here in America:
  • Food preparation and serving workers, including fast food.
  • Dishwashers.
  • Cashiers.
  • Hosts and hostesses.
  • Amusement park attendants.
  • Movie theater ushers, ticket takers.
  • Farm workers.
Sit-down restaurants, movie theaters, and amusement parks are shut down in enlightened jurisdictions, so that takes care of most of the list, except in backward states led by dipwit Republican governors who refuse to issue stay-at-home orders, in which case fuck 'em, let 'em all die of the 'rona.

Most areas under lockdown allow restaurants to remain open for takeout and delivery only, so food preparers and dishwashers are probably still at work, but they mostly don't come in contact with the general public, which considerably limits their exposure--which is not to discount the inherent risk that comes with working for a shitty employer who makes his minions work cheek-to-jowl with each other during a pandemic, but hopefully most employers will at least make an effort to keep their workers separated from each other.

Farm workers, okay, that's a horrible job, no question, but at least when you're killing yourself picking grapes you can at least maintain a safe distance from other grape-pickers, hopefully.

So that basically just leaves cashiers, who have to interact with the public at close range and handle their nasty germ-ridden cash. That is some bullshit, and I absolutely hope that those cashiers who still have to report to work receive all of the affordances they need to protect themselves from infection. But that's a mightly slim peg to hang a cartoon on.

3 Asian or Asian people who have been victims of countless hate crimes since the start of the crisis
I know there's been a couple. But countless? Cite? Plus who's been committing those crimes? And where?

4 And all the people who have a job presenting a high risk of contagion but who continue to work at minimum wage since it is suddenly an "essential job"
The cashiers, stockists and the like completely deserve sympathy and appreciation. But hectoring people into giving it to them is not a useful way to go about it. Unfortunately, LaBelle doesn't know how to suggest, encourage or ask - to him, it's all about demanding, ordering and bullying. Respect muh pronouns/sex work/cashiers, you bigot!

But then, it's like that leak that went around at the start of the year showing that the troons had a method for forcing their agenda into law - by hiding it under more acceptable legislation, using general terms and closed-door meetings to make sure it never got challenged until it was too late. It's the same here - the bottom two panels are people who are deserving of consideration, but you're meant to just accept all four. And even worse, for LaBelle the order is reversed - he wants you the afterthoughts are the bottom two panels, while the top two are the ones that really matter to him.

It's completely expected, but it's still gross to see 'Global pandemic: troons most affected (with no evidence)' from the usual suspects.

What kind of "sex worker" dresses that plainly? Plus, if you have an illegal job, you don't receive employment insurance. That's the way things go. Maybe LaBelle should take things up with pimps if he doesn't like that.
