Christ on a bike... that is horrendous. A DNR is one thing but not calling an ambulance? Who wrote this? A DNR doesnt mean you get no care, and an ambulance could easily save someone’s life or be entirely appropriate in many situations even if you do have a DNR. The DNR is just that - no resus.
There is NO need for things like this. Anyone with terminal cancer isn’t getting a vent anyway and is unlikely to be somewhere where they won’t have access to records to see their state of health. They know that, they’re already aware of it because they’re in regular contact with their teams who care for them.
The mind boggles as to which practice manager Okd this to be sent.

See the Barclay Practice letter I posted a while back. This is starting to roll out amongst GP practices. The chief medical officers have been prodding the GP practices to “confirm“ DNR wishes of elderly and vulnerable patients. This is a centralised, not an individual drive. You are going to see more and more of these letters.

ETA Don’t think I’m defending these “pls volunteer for death by Coof thx” missives. Jesus. But more of them are coming.

As of this morning the state of New York has confirmed 102,936 coronavirus cases, 2,945 deaths and 8,886 recovered. New York City has the highest number of bat flu cases in the US. This map shows which NYC zip codes are most affected here. Because testing is still limited, the actual positive rate is almost certain to be much higher.

Personally I've had it with house arrest, business closures and food/medical supply shortages but especially the lack of testing. We are close to having the NYPD ask anyone outdoors "Ihre papiere bitte?" while convicted pedos are released and running around free. The NYPD won't respond to actual law enforcement things because they might catch the bat flu but will cart you off in a heartbeat if you stand too close to someone. If Giuliani had the police do this he would have been called Nazi and worse.

Isn't herd immunity achieved when the vulnerable population times R0 (initial reproductive rate) is less than one? Assuming R0 is 2.2, 60% infection gives 40% of the population vulnerable. 0.4*2.2=0.88.

Then again R(t), the reproductive rate at time t, should hopefully fall because of social distancing. If you could halve it you could double the uninfected population and still have the population peak. E.g. 0.8*1.1=0.88. At that point, you'd get peak infection with 20% infection.

South Korea's model is the best case. Curve gets flattened, then you get cases spread throughout a lokg period of time in a controlled way while you recover and research better treatment. Flattening only buys time and control, but those are very valuable resources right now.

This kind of logistical stumbling bothers me. There’s no need for it. The brains and the kit is there, and this says to me that government needs a few more science bods in it or they would have been on weeks back. It’s obvious stuff.

Abd REDFOR uses no radars so they can't even see him, a bunch of small boats and merchant boats to scout, and prepares. By the time BLUFOR drops by they have been thoroughly identified and are met with a ridiculous amount of torpedoes and kamikaze boats acompanied by a fleet of small boats. And they eat shit. Like literally 19 sunk ships, including most of the strike group, total unilateral catastrophic failure.

So white cell starts adding rules to try and turn that around. As the days go by they started banning the use of cammo, forcing the activation of radars, and they have to even ban OPFOR from shooting at the personnel carriers. The real blazing issue with MC2002 was that BLUEFOR basically sent out an ultimatum telling OPFOR they had 48 hours to surrender, so Van Riper (OPFOR general) just decides "okay, so 24 hours for us to come up with the best pre-emptive strike plan"; which is what any competent leader/commander would do when realizing war is inevitable (and why start with telling the enemy you plan to attack?)

Hmm... if they release health data on the actual black people dying, as in health status, it may go a long way to explain how this virus is actually working. If it trends high in other black neighbourhoods that aren't poor + combined with Italy, Spain, flipland and New York... that'd be interesting.

Your suspicion is good, but I don't see any reason to doubt this video unless new footage/evidence is released. All of the people around the woman are aware of what she is doing and most of them have a "can you believe this shit?" expression on their face. The woman in the handicap scooter looks like she's going in for her fourth or fifth "dafuq?" when the video starts.

Partly due to how long it takes to actually recover i fuckin hope.

US had very disproportionate deaths vs recoveries in the first several weeks after the shit really started hitting the fan. The gradually at about the 3 week mark, recoveries increased. We still only have roughly 12,700 recoveries vs 7400 deaths.
