Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

It shows that message and policy trump age any day. Anyone who votes mostly on age or looks is cancerous to democracy.
I don't disagree, but I've yet to see a younger candidate have any good message or push any coherent policy. At least oldies have some semblance of a coherent message. Trumps was simplicity in both at it's finest.
Remove bean
Build wall
Make job
Rebuild military
Restore patriotism
Eat big mac

I never vote because I'm a NEET. I'm a supporter of anime girls until the end.

It wasn't even that complex.

---Take care of citizens first

---Enjoy Big Mac

Eh, using group identity isn't always the best basis for decision making.

Show me anyone else who said 'hold my beer' and memed reality to become president just because a dope said 'I'm better than you because you'll never be president'.
Shorter: Who really wants GenX in charge?
Question is can you really trust a youngin as much as an oldie? Trudeau is pretty young and he's nothing but a limp wristed tragedy.
I understand, and as I said before I like Trump, but simply for health reasons I wish he was 5 or 10 years younger and less fond of Big Macs.

I agree, but most voters are idiots and will typically place looks and/or charisma over policy.

Oh no doubt. I remember back when Obama was running the 1st time and some guy was like "I wanna vote for the guy who knows how to text!". Funny and semi relatable when I was younger. Absolutely stupid when I look back and remember that voter.

More than any president in history...nay more than any world leader in recent memory...Obama is the one who truly epitomises the abstract concept of "False Hope".

So much hype....so much adulation....so much literal cult demagoguery about his messianic role in human history... and absolutely nothing to show for it. He was elected on a thousand different promises, and each one was broken.

The irony is, even if the TDS cultists get their way and the next century's historiography is filled with five inch thick volumes on how orange man was bad, he is still going to leave an infinitely greater impact on US and world history than Obama could ever dream of.

Or to put it another way, Trump could quote this historical clip about himslef with full irony and yet be 1000% correct...
*note the smug phone drop and smile as you remember what happened two weeks later...*

When both parties has a history of greed and racism, a younger candidate doesn't sound all that bad.
That kinda depends on what the younger person is in favor of though, if I had to choose between some far right lunatic, AOC, or someone like Trump(not actually a far right lunatic, even if some of those sorts of people like him and vote for him)I would likely go with another Trump.

Wouldn't your issue be with the party then? What does age have to do with it?

Looking anywhere on this site shows the young can be just as greedy and incredibly racist, if not more so since they do a poorer job keeping it covered.

I am actually going to transcribe this. So was listening to:
And it's funny because on sticher the podcast is 1:45:00+ long but on the link it's 1:10:00 so I think this bit may actually have been editted out.

Anyway, in this transcript, "R" is Rob Long. "G" will be Jonah Goldberg. From my app it's at the ~1:15:00 mark.

R: Even just today we had [stuttering] by tweets, the most aggressive president against china say 'they doin' good! they're doin' good, uh the president's a good guy!' He was making nice with them already because the supply chain is really important. Because if we're going to actually get all those vaccines and get all those ya know antibody tests--

G: You think Trump is saying that because he cares about the supply chain? I think he's saying that for the same reason he talks about Kim Jong Un as a really impressive guy and Putin as a really impressive guy - discounting the conspiracy stuff - because he likes strong men and because he thinks personal relationships matter more than they do and he has other considerations about his relationships with these people rather than America's national interests. But anyway.

I mean it always baffles me from these folks who go on about how Trump lies, believe every word he says about America's enemies. Like does it ever occur to you that he's lying to or about them?

I'm not sure if trump being a draft Dodger is as bad as people say. I can understand veterans calling him one, but seeing twatter users call him one and a pussy, coward, yet were the same ones freaking out that ww3 was gonna break some idiot was called for bombing an embassy. I know it's irrelevant now, but it's just a food for thought i wanna share.

I'm always amazed at this one aspect of the left. They can't comprehend that you can be opposed to someone and trying to screw them over, but doing it with a smile while maintaining pleasantries. It's like these people are children who can't help but act on their impulsive emotions.

Draft dodgers are the hippies that went underground bouncing between communes or fled to Canada to avoid the draft. Getting off on a minor medical condition because you showed up and got evaluated is not.

Sounds like he avoided a useless war that we lost.

I don't care. It was years before I was even born. And a lot of people got out of the Vietnam War. If I didn't hold it against Muhammad Ali, I won't hold it against Trump.
Same here. Hell, 90% of the people calling him that wasn't alive after the fact. If he was drafted, he'd be called a baby killer, asian hater, ect, ect.

Bernie was a draft dodger and the left endlessly suck his dick for it because muh peace dude weed lmao. How do they know Trump wasn't opposed to war? He's been on record saying he didn't agree with the wars in the middle east which you could say were arguably the same as the vietnam war.

It's worse because the members of that podcast are all supposed to be right-wing.

Then again as you pointed out, it might be why Rob Long on that podcast seems to get Trump better than the other two since he works in Hollywood (who are all about maintaining pleasantries while stabbing you in the back).
