The only positive thing I can say about Onision is he is a good looking dude but getting all the pussy he did only heighten his ego. From what I’ve watched, he refused to follow orders in the service (for really dumb reasons : conscientious objector) and he has a long track record of treating his girlfriends like shit until he finds something younger than the last.

Because his hippy mother warned him against deodorant, medication of any kind, and proper soap. So in lieu of those, he frantically showers 8 times per day, making his skin and hair more greasy each time.

He definitely likes em younger, and skirts the line of legality. I'm sure he broke some sort of law adopting the girl then grooming her. But pedophile has a very specific kind of meaning and I don't think it applies to him. Although, he does remind me of woody allen.

I can't vouch for the validity of what @multiverse said (the whole violet children thing eludes me), but from personal experience, people who take showers constantly want to grab control of some aspect of their lives when they feel trapped.
But obviously it could just be a hygiene obsession.
Greg is a definite ephebophile, but must we really split hairs? He has a preference towards minors, end of discussion.
And the act of grooming is a legal gray area. In fact, grooming isn't even properly defined in US law. He did a lot of questionable things that could land him jail, but circustances and timing have made that possibility incredibly difficult- grooming charges included.

Ephebophile is just a fancy word to say that you won't diddle kids under the age of 15, and when Greg (and Taylor) noticed Sarah and Regina both girls were younger than that, so... pedo still.
Also, I think that not many consider an ephebophile to be as dangerous and horrifying as a pedophile. There's that "Well, she was an attractive, mature for her age girl that just happened to be under 18" mentality that comes with that term, as if abusing a teen is better than abusing an eight year old. They fall under the same category, and when Greg will have to crawl to an employer to find a job, which may never happen but you never know how things turn out, I want said employer to look him up, find this page, and read that he's a pedo and should not be let around anyone under the age of 20.
