One of the things that piqued me as especially odd in that at least one of the pieces of literature that Chloe provided, was that they specifically refer to the DID patients as scoring low on hypnotizability.

That is highly innaccurute info you were given one of the key points of someone having a disassociative disorder is that they are highly open to suggestions. Personally I don't believe in using hypnosis in therapy, but many of the types of centers that cater to DID use it as one of the main theraputic things.

People need to realize that they cannot get a2ay wity being manipulative and a liar. There are people who actually struggle and profitting off of a mental illness which she does not represent accurately for everyone because it varies a lot. This is harmful to people actually have it.

I only ever watched the first video as he irritates me a little. Watching this one and he's already talking about how he believes in dinosaur alters now so I'm taking this with a pinch of salt. His information on Pottergate is interesting though.

I'm sitting through the video at x2 speed and he simply describes the call rather than posting it. His points so far have been reasonable. More personal oversharing about how he got his diagnosis but he ultimately confirms that Remy is not able offer a diagnosis and the process of obtaining any diagnosis in the UK in a long one. He reveals that his video featuring Nan and Nin kissing in the thumbnail attracted an entirely female audience which is unusual for his channel. More oversharing about his sexuality and he confirms that he actually has autism which explains a lot. He takes the tests offered online for DID and shows that he gets a high score when he has many other conditions that explain the symptoms and high score. Very valid point. He's definitely hanging around here as he starts analysing her Tik Toks.

(I actually sat through another minute or two and the dude googled 'loli' to prove it's illegal in the UK. I agree it's disturbing and wrong. I also agree that Nan's art featuring children is disturbing. I also agree that she is a predator and her behaviour is worrying particularly when you consider that she has tried to start a sexual relationship with a real teenager. To be clear I said hypnotizability. Data indicates that suggestibility and hypnotizability are different constructs, as it is being understood that when you are under hypnotic induction, you are in a different state of consciousness.

Anyway, I'm talking about the literature that Chloe uses to defend her diagnosis and what I thought was off. There is a school of dissociative disorder academia (which Pottergate uses) that attempts to prove that it is not delusions, nor imagination driving the dissociative identity states. I'm specifically pointing out that they could not both believe they are a real non-human and not be experiencing some kind of hallucinatory psychosis.

I've only listened to the section of the Grandad's Lounge video about his call to the Pottergate clinic, which is very interesting. They apparently confirmed that not even the doctor they have on staff is able to make a diagnosis (though no reason given why not) and that Chloe would have had to pay twice to both see Remy and then have a separate psychiatrist sign off on his 'recommendation'. He says she could have had her local NHS mental health team sign off on it instead, so it's a true mystery as to why she'd choose to pay twice instead - unless the local NHS team would have wrote it off for the horseshit it is. I stand by my previous thought that she wanted to be able to toss Remy's name around since he seems to be a bit of a media whore as well (has anyone ever google imaged him btw? He looks fucking insane)

I actually ended up skipping to the point where he explained why Nan's predatory behaviour is so disgusting and he got it absolutely right. She herself has confirmed that sneezing is sexual to her. She describes her own drawings of people sneezing as pornographic. In her mind, when she is drawing children or young characters sneezing, she is drawing porn. Whilst I find that disgusting enough, I find the inclusion of real children and teenagers to be the most pressing problem. As GL pointed out, she posts pictures of herself sneezing or unwell on her Instagram frequently. Long before Covid. He didn't cover it, but she has also posted entire YouTube videos dedicated to the topic of sneezing, disguised as something fun for her audience - look how all my alters sneeze differently! What is she getting out of exposing her audience to her fetish?

These kids are trusting enough to believe she's got a werecat living in her head and an animatronic doll has put her other alter in a coma. They don't question anything Nan says or does. She can get away with this kind of predatory behaviour because her fans care about her and don't doubt her story because you just can't question someone with trauma. How will it escalate as her following grows? How is Nan different from, say, Austin Jones or Onision in their earliest days on the platform?
