Also keep in mind that when she's referring to the poor, she's not talking about the US poor. She's referring to the third-world poor. When is the last time that the average poor person*, man or woman, in the US worried about growing food?

* Yes, I know there are American farmers out there who are poor.

And I'm really just picturing Holden in Fallout: New Vegas, trying to trade some gravel he found to sleep with a diseased hooker. So my political commentary isn't the most valid.

My brother just shrugged and said that there is a word for it in Japanese. (I forget the term, but it popped up due to antisocial behavior and the low birthrate) Or something. :|

I can totally see a person stumbling upon Fuckbot's skellington in a Fallout game facing a computer and with an old pile of meth nearby it. The house is perfectly preserved, but the room does scream "Post-Apocalyptic".
