Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

They're the voice of the people. Whether you like it or not.

I mean in the sense that they own the news industry and have self appointed themselves as the fourth estate sure but lord knows their ain't a person on the planet that elected these people into their position and if newspaper sales prove anything it's that most of these loons would be out of a job if it wasn't for a big corporation backing them.

I think, correct me if I'm wrong, he means "meme'd" as in literal 4Chan & R/T_D pepe images of the God Emperor owning the Mexicans and SJW's

Trump did "meme" himself to the presidency if we take "meme" to mean a simplistic, relocatable and sometimes humorous device.
Trumpisms were quick, they were to the point, and they were memorized.

How many Hillary sayings do people remember besides the obnoxious "its Her turn" and the cringey "Pokemon GO to the polls!"???
I don't know what other people use it as (or really care) but a meme is a thought virus.

That designation carries with it the obligation to inform the people, not just screech at others in their name.

Even if every word out of Trump's mouth at those briefings is a lie, a Presidential press conference is still the most newsworthy thing happening, and they should be carrying it. Spend the other 18 hours of the day debunking it if necessary, i.e. do your damn job. But if you're going to cut down your responsibilities then your privileges get cut down too.

In any case, CNN's credibility was down around 53% before the virus hit, and is probably lower now. If it falls below 50% popular trust, does it stop being "the voice of the people" and just becomes another corporate narrative generator?

It's about 45%-46% now. none of their segments made it into the top 20 cable broadcasts while Fox got multiple and MSNBC got i think 2 or 4

You guys are weirdly fucking obsessed with shitting on OANN. I'd be hard-pressed to find people less professional than a CNN employee.

Probably old but wow...

They're the voice of the people. Whether you like it or not.

CNN claims millions of viewers and that includes millions of TVs left on at random airports, bus terminals and offices.

The country has 320 million citizens.

The media doesn't stand for anyone other than themselves. Whenever they say "The American people", they really mean "Our staff of overly whiny fucktards". They and politicians act like we're a more sensitive country than we really are...even though we're not.

They cry out as they strike you. Journalists are upset that OANN is actually doing good work that people enjoy watching while they're just parroting propaganda and getting shit ratings for it. Most of these journos are paid a pittance too, they're the wage slaves of the managerial class.

If the business has literally $0 in income, how exactly are they supposed to pay their workers? Does a single person on the mainstream Left even understand money anymore or have they all been replaced by multimillionaire ghouls who think that everyone can just ask for daddy's credit card if they need to buy a new Maserati every year?
