Peetz motivation to be left wing isn't really rooted in any sort of understanding of politics. He's a weedy guy who works a rather low-paying position and has a weak disposition. Peetz is left wing because it means he doesn't have to work on himself.

He can't cook for himself and should take better care of his health? Fat shaming. He shouldn't kowtow to his ex of 8 years who cheated on him and ought to be more assertive? Toxic masculinity. He should consider getting a skill to advance his financial position in life and gain job security? No, the minimum wage should just be higher.

It's besides the point whether or not his political points are any good, because Peetz doesn't really care about politics, he just wants the path of least resistance through life, just like Chantal. His dumb take that dieting 'makes your body unable to tell whether it's well-fed or not' is just bullshit. That's true for yo-yo and fad dieting, but reducing portion sizes and changing the meals you're eating works and he only doesn't want to believe it because he might have to put a bit of effort into learning to cook meals that don't hit the dopamine receptors the way Papa John's does.

If she’s moving to either the Barrhaven area or the Trainyards-ish area, she’ll have plenty of access to her favourite food. Especially Trainyards because that’s the location of her preferred dumpsters in which to dive (and the Farm Boy she goes to the most.)

I’m sad to report Ottawa only has one Arby’s and it’s way the fuck in Kanata. Not that it’s stopped her before though.

SJW failures of his ilk want free speech censored and outlawed in the service of their sentimental utopian vision: it makes him feel good about himself.
