Snowflake Chloe Wilkinson / DissociaDID and Nanette Zuniga / Nan / TeamPinata

o shit. They’ve got 4 followers now.

We’re all going to die.

Yikes.

I’m torn between being sad or amused that people are taking up arms against Trisha for “pushing” their DID queen to her attempt, when as I recall, Trisha did little more than say she initially thought Chloe “seemed crazy”. A 5 second mention, and then nothing more, which was then followed by droves of Chloe’s fans descending upon the comments section and eviscerating Trisha. Trisha did not send or cause her fans to attack Chloe or anyone in the DID community. The complete opposite occurred, and Trish received hate. If anything, she may have spread “misinformation”, but there is nothing that makes Chloe’s DID more valid or that makes her more qualified to talk about DID than Trisha, other than that Chloe puts more effort into making her videos seem legit.

And of course, Chloe made calculated response videos to make Trisha’s intent seem much more malicious, as an attack on the vulnerable mentally ill community, when Trish was literally just doing the same thing Chloe does, talking about her “DID” (albeit without the scientific authority facade that Chloe works so hard to present). I also don’t know why Chloe was so worried about her “hard work being undone” when Trish is a known troll and isn’t taken seriously at all.

I thought I'd pull up another relevant article here about DID malingering that had some interesting points, confirming things already alluded to in other articles and user speculation in the thread...

Drajier & Boon (1999): The Imitation of Dissociative Identity Disorder: Patients at Risk, Therapists at Risk

"DID can be imitated due to contagion, to iatrogenesis, or to both." -- Again, this is another article that stresses how people can, via social influence, believe that they see symptoms of the condition within themselves. This is, as we suspected, one of the reasons why what Chloe does is insidious and harmful. DID that looks genuine can be transmitted and can complicate peoples' lives. The iatrogenesis aspect probably refers to the false memory issue, or the fact that someone who is already suggestible due to, say, a cluster B personality disorder can go into therapy and through suggestion be unwittingly led to believe they have DID. This diagnosis is then latched onto so that the person feels as though they have closure, an excuse for societal outcasting (which leads onto the author's explanation that faking DID "[compensates] for an overwhelming feeling of not being seen ").
One of the other core dynamics of maligned DID proposed by the authors is "avoidance of responsibility for negative behavior, found mostly in patients with a borderline or antisocial personality disorder". If our suspicions about Chloe possibly having BPD are correct, this would make a lot of sense. By having all these child and persecutory alters, it does offer her a 'get out of jail free' card for difficult situations where she would otherwise be held accountable for her emotions or actions. She can play the 'I'm traumatised' card.
--

On a separate note...
It's been discussed in the thread before that DID malingerers appear go undetected by the so-called "gold standard" diagnostic tool for identifying factitious disorders: the Structured Interview of Reported Symptoms (SIRS). Here's an actual decent source that discusses that in detail for future reference:
Brand, McNary, Lowenstein, Kolos & Barr (2005): Assessment of Genuine and Simulated Dissociative Identity Disorder on the Structured Interview of Reported Symptoms

Note, however, that the SIRS is a generic test for any feigned illness, not specific to feigning dissociative disorders or trauma related psychological condition. There has yet to be an interview or report questionnaire tool for this specific purpose. Would be interesting to see how well malingerers like Chloe fair on such a test. So far, only measures like implicit object recognition, the implicit associations test (IAT) and cognitive capacity tests have reliably separated patients from malingerers.

As a professional provocateur, Trish is probably having a ball.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I'd like to think Chloe is making sock accounts now. I don't actually believe she is but I'm looking forward to the day that she does.

Chloe's fans are made up of mentally unwell individuals seeking validation instead of treatment or SJWs who think nobody should be able to question someone's lived experience. It's probably extremely easy to rouse those groups into getting onboard a cancel culture op. Chloe's vague responses towards attacking people and her unspoken support of the harassment show that she enjoys the power of this situation. Her various symptomatic responses to people seeking to invalidate her are attempts to look like the victim. She isn't worried about her work being undone, the Tumblrettes and other YouTube personalities are doing just as much to bolster unhealthy attitudes for mental health, she just wanted Trisha to suffer for talking down to her publicly.

It's hard to pick a winner for most cringe out of that group, with one that drew on their face with a sharpie and another dancing sitting down for "mobility challenged individuals"(read: fat asses) but I'm going to crown Slow Switch for the crossing of the eyes like a sped. Special mention to the discount juggalette. Is it just me or is it eerie that we're seeing a disproportionate amount of young females identifying this way and how that correlates to another popular theory to explain Chloe and Nan's DID symptoms good old fashioned BPD?

Looking forward to this revolution. 😂

"DID can be imitated due to contagion, to iatrogenesis, or to both."

I was wondering about this. I was reading about shared delusion and wondered if that could be a possibility with some DID cases being true delusions, despite no history of trauma or abuse.

I don't think Chloe is delusional, though. Just a liar.

"she is behind a series of hacking attacks"

Trisha can't even properly edit a YouTube video, but maybe one of her aLtErS is a hacker

Her disability belongs to an alter, apparently.

Parent of The Year Award goes to Fragmented Psyche who will continue to expose her son to Nanette because man she just wouldn't touch a kid even though she draws them!

Of course the fake DID community wouldn't want to validate anyone who was sexually abused as a child expressing their shared concern over Nan's drawings! When you can't actually relate to what actually causes the disorder, you have to protect the image of the fakers at ALL COSTS.

None of them take control of the dental hygiene, I see.

I’m not a psychiatrist or is it psychologist and I don’t know if Chloe has DID, maybe she does maybe not ,not here to debate that since I have only watched two videos. However DID or Dissociative Identity Disorder or Multiple Personality Disorder as it was known ,is an actual medical diagnosis that does exist and is formed when a child goes through such trauma the brain can’t cope ,it splits into alters as a form of protecting themselves . It is rare and it does affect females more than males. So DID or MPD as it was former known does exist, so please do not say ,it doesn’t exist because there are people who are genuinely struggling with this illness .

DID and MPD are two different disorders. MPD was, in fact, not a real disorder. It was removed from both the DSM and the ICD. A new diagnosis, DID, was added at the same time to account for what is believed to be a real disorder that is not made up of multiple personalities, but instead, a fragmented identity that is only fragmented because of dissociative states of consciousness not integrating due to long-term, sustained childhood trauma and a lack of a supportive environment to cope with that trauma (which is why overwhelmingly the cause of real DID cases is due to incestuous child abuse).

Nothing in the DSM or the ICD is considered to be immutable fact. DID is difficult to study because it is very rare, and a lot of people who have all of the symptoms of DID, and severe childhood trauma, are usually only aware of the symptoms of dissociative amnesia and PTSD. Because of this, some clinicians believe that these "alternate states of consciousness" are not pronounced at all without being suggested or hypnotized to the patient. Clinicians may notice pronounced differences in patients from one session to another, reflective of this fragmented identity, and some clinicians draw attention to this to the patient in these different states with things like, "Who am I speaking with today?" or "There are others like you in there, aren't there?" In the circle of mental health I am in (which is psychiatrists mainly), they believe in ignoring the states and treating the patient as one, fragmented individual, and processing their trauma and teaching new coping mechanisms to avoid dissociating to deal with stress or trauma.

It may very well be that we see DID removed, or altered in the next version of the DSM and ICD.

I’ve been called a nincompoop before by my niece .... when she was five.

Someone clearly hasn't read the thread. :sad-face:

That’s really mature insulting people. I won’t engage to any replies so don’t bother. Goodbye.

Except this one, of course.

I hate to admit I watched any of this, but I thought Nan might be delusional until I saw this. The new "alter" refers to how the "system" was acting before "he" was "born", referring to it as a first-hand experience, not like it was told to "him".

They don't want to say suicide because it can be triggering but more importantly saying suicide on Twitter is against TOS or something and she'd hate to get her account suspended.

They use "content warnings" or "trigger warnings" when they want to protect their audiences from panic attacks. The censoring with asterisks is to avoid algorithms that target self-harm and suicide content. Specifically, this happens on YouTube, which is the first place they wrote this and they copy-pasted it cross-platform. Calculating enough to avoid the post getting removed automagically and ensure that she gets those really traumatized adolescents on the hook with the content. Imagine if she was doing something with all this energy that wasn't so cow-like. IMAGINE.

Timezone censored for anonymity of the source.

Creating unfounded rumors. Absolutely no acknowledgement that these are actual drawings that Nan did. Can't say I'm surprised, honestly, but I'm concerned for FP's son.

imo, the worst part isn't even that she drew the porn. She uploaded sneezing compilations to her educational Youtube channel and was constantly posting shit about being sick to her social media. She gets off on being sick and people fretting over her, commenting on her sneezing, ect. It takes some impressive mental gymnastics to handwave her being DID Dan Schneider.

Funny that Nan has decided to befriend FP and DIDMom. Two very small creators who aren't particularly significant but both have children.

I think drawing children engaging in kink is pretty deplorable too. But, yes, tricking her young audience into engaging with her kink is just arguably worse as it involved real people.
With that said, I think we're forgetting that Nan actively spent time thinking about, visualising, and bringing to life an image she conjured up of children engaging in fetish. That wasn't an accident or a mistake. She went through that process several times and her choosing to draw the porn speaks to her mindset in relation to children.
The fact that she went on to act on her interest by involving her audience shows that she struggles to contain these thoughts to fantasy alone. I don't think we should discount the porn.

Okay the screenshots I promised plus a bonus from a fan on Twitter.

Wow apparently it's not always fun to have DID! Or maybe just using it as an excuse to act violent. But also something interesting to take away from this post is that Chloe used to live with multiple roommates AND Jamie (her at the time boyfriend).
IMG_4745.jpg

So hardly anyone in that group who replied actually are aiming for integration.
IMG_4746.jpg

Here's the comment where she said Jamie had been abusive in the past. This was in response to a comment on her post about Jamie contacting her mom. Someone said he sounds abusive.
IMG_4747.jpg

Hmm so that's why she's with Nan: it's easier to date a system than a normal person I guess. I still can't believe that three alters in both their systems are dating, seems so fake.
IMG_4748.jpg

This is why she supposedly got an email from YT telling her to contact the police -- she had contacted YT about taking down Tatianna's videos.
IMG_4749.jpg

Amira is in fact Indian as we suspected, which explains the horrible fake accent.
IMG_4750.jpg

Weird post from probably a little alter. Chloe didn't reply to any comments on this post but heart reacted to a very select few comments (maybe 5/65).
IMG_4752.jpg

And here's a gullible fan who clearly hasn't seen their disneyworld vlog.

Ruby is the same alter who felt the need to reassure people she isn't a murderer in her introduction video. I'd love to see Chloe sperg out and pull out her best Red cosplay.

Interesting that she said Jamie had been abusive considering her behaviour in relation to temper tantrums, blocking people on his social medias, and general unwillingness to contribute to household chores when living with him as a dependent.

Mama wins this thread; she guessed the accent was supposed to be Indian. What a fucking train wreck.
