A bunch of angry ISWV speds found their way into Sabat's mentions, but not a whole lot. The anti Vic tweets responding to them also got a whole lot more likes than them at first, now it seems to have evened itself out. Anyway, although Chris didn't name Vic in the original tweet and there were only a few angry ISWV comments, Chris decided to respond to one which didn't even attack Chris directly.

I just think it's funny these people keep entertaining the "chuds". Chris could've gotten away by just ignoring every mention of Vic, but nope. He had to add fuel to the fire.

Shit like this relieves me a bit that JYB of all people has took the mantle from Vic. Like, JYB at least respects the fact that Vic was the definitive dub voice for a long while (Douglas Rand from the AB Groupe dub sucked ass), it also helps that they're friends & JYB has Vic's blessings do his roles

Like seriously, if Sean would've done it, he would be just a snarky cunt about it, shoving the fact down everyone's throat. Sabat on the other hand, would've wore Vic's skin alive.

All they had to do was comply with the TDMA letter, either remove the tweets, or clarify that they didn’t mean Vic was fired because of sexual harassment and assault.

That would have saved them over 200k.

Well, Funimation was also in a copyright lawsuit with KojiCast last year, too.
Imagine having to pay for lawyers in two lawsuits (as well as layoff a bunch of employees) and still do not provide for a critical part in your main product.

Well their on staff lawyer specializes in copyright so they probably just had him do it. They had to pay for kermit to cover company stupidity.

Vic's easter livestream is up on his instagram. Just tried to screenrecord it for the past 20 minutes or so, but I think I'm too much of a boomer to get it done. Can't get it to work right. I feel old.

You can only view the livestream if you're logged in via the instagram app. It should show up if you tap on his profile picture on his profile.

I bet nothing interesting even happened during the stream, I just wanted to let you know in case anyone wants to download it before it's gone.

Well technically, ADV had a figures foresight problem as well, which led to their bankruptcy.

Technically, Sentai Filmworks is ADV all but in name.
Much of the same people who worked in ADV are at Sentai.

Awwww poor lawtwits they thought they had a Gotcha and were as usual ass-blasted about it! Be it Tewson or Bett or Shoe-guy, they as always had the wrong info and did the usual amusing bad take. :story:
Hope their meltdown at the Threadnough will be HISTORIC when CoA finally replies and everyone not KV will be hopefully crying in laughts. :semperfidelis:
