It’s not surprising the Dark has seen a surge in contributions over these last two-three weeks.

The surge in contributions directly correlates with most shelter-in-place orders imposed on most states and thus forcing people to remain indoors. Coupled with the fact that everything is closed and the weirdoes/ shut-ins that constitute as Dark’s fanbase have even less incentive to go out, his stream numbers have increased and people have gotten a chance to participate in his chat more frequently and thus strengthen their weird little circle of autism.

Already a group of abnormally lonely people, COVID-19 has made it even lonelier for the DSP spergs. What better way to stave off that loneliness but shower the Goutlord with tips and monies while pathetically participating in an event that produces a material response from the one guy they think is their friend? It speaks volumes that people willingly give money to a guy that absolutely doesn’t deserve it but Dark has always been good at gaslighting and his “us vs. them” mentality particularly resonates during a time of uncertainty and adversity very few people have experienced. Solidarity often become a premium during times of a pandemic due to the inability to physically congregate but Twitch and various online communities have made it possible.

Give it to Dark for once again being at the right place at the right time and benefit from the mental illness and misery of others for minimal effort.

I just view this as calm before the storm anyways as no matter what good things may be happening to DSP, his bankruptcy looms over him like a dark shadow that is inevitably going to impact his life negatively in more ways that he can’t imagine.

There’s no happy ending here. Dark should really relish these days of easy funds as they will inevitably come to an end while being hit with the strong possibility of losing the only thing that matters to him: his house.

DSPaypigs are not biologcally capable of understanding that manbreasts are a bad or revolting thing, so no, that can't solve for "x" in this equation. Nothing can.

Based on limited watching of DSP's playthroughs, I think the vest streak is working because it's the only break from "Nothing I could do, fuck this game, fuck the developers, what a bunch of scrubs" that pours out of DSP.

If this goes on for a year, they're going to be really upset they wasted money on Phil.

The airbuster fight is easily one of the best fights in games in recent years, it is so clever with how you can impact on its diagnostics to begin with to essentially change the fight. I have just done fight now after luckily being not spoiled but just the words "airbuster"

I am behind on Phil's streams due to me not being spoiled but I assume he is going to struggle hard on it as you need to co ordinate with you team. The 3rd phase lazer is going to fuck him as you need to essentially cordon off a party member and either him them take the blast or dodge it last minute. The dodge is freaking hard though you have to be bang on the blast. He hits really freaking hard the electro punch does like 800 damage to cloud and one shots Tifa and the telegraph looks like his finger blast attack so it is really easy when at first to get hit by his first attempt.

For me lvl 17 all members - 10 hi potions used, 3 downs 2 ethers. Ifirit used over mog though :p Also note magic does not really do much to him I did thundera him twice and wanted to keep for cura in case. The dynamic is to aim on the stagger but you need to co ordinate effectively to do so.

You literally freaking start on Reno after and he is "fun"

He beat it last night.

The game is super easy. You just need to use items. He wasn't even dodging honestly.

I think people need to stop fantasizing about him struggling, he's going to breeze through it. Might have been difficult on hard, but normal? Nah.

Are the shadows on these pics just weird, or is he pouring the sweat under his man boobies? It looks like around the neck and under his moobs is darker/wet but I can’t tell.
I'm pretty sure sharp-eyed kiwis have identified this as shadow being cast by his equipment.

The fights do get harder after Airbuster, but I think anyone expecting him to struggle against bosses is going to be disappointed. While some of the fights can be challenging in terms of their design, you can spam powerful healing spells to negate any challenge. You can also buy limitless MP-restoring items with the vast amount of gil the game gives you. Additionally, there's a skill that allows the tankiest party member to absorb damage from everyone else.

The only thing I might see frustrating him are some of the fights against groups of enemies with status effects and high physical resistance, because he's too dumb/stubborn to hit their weaknesses.

Even the "secret" boss wasn't challenging, and those are usually super hard in FF games (see the Dark Aeons in FFX, Ozma in FFIX, and the Weapons in the original FFVII). You take a lot of damage, but again, when you can have 50 Mega-Potions and 50 Ethers, there's really no challenge. There are supposedly some hard fights in the Colosseum post-game, but I don't expect we'll be seeing those.

how many deaths has dsp used for adsense

etika, kobe, T, who else

The big one that pissed off John and Howard was Phil's use of the death of "Scott", an "old school", "true OG" Street Fighter player.

[Video: https://youtu.be/c7il9wvBam8?t=3567

TL;DW: John and Howard had already cut ties with Phil by the time Scott died, but Howard did message Phil about it. He didn't respond. "A week or two later", Phil "makes a video about Scott passing away". On top of infuriating the Street Fighter community for "publicizing someone's death", the death of a greatly respected member of the their community, Phil then brought up the death of "T" as well.]

This part of the clip was where I really started to see Phil as a terrible person. I mean when your friends are saying things like this about you then you know you are a real POS. And yeah, it's Howard making the strong statements but Rambo isn't disputing them, in fact if anything he's agreeing. And that's like his best friend right there, the person he felt closest to, and he thinks that lowly of Phil.

Ooooof. I wonder how DSP's ego made that okay? I wonder if he listened to the whole video? I wonder if it was like that Simpsons episode where you could pinpoint the point where his heart broke?

Personally, I'm just looking forward to the part where he finishes the game and pretends he had fun with it, despite it arguably being easier and brainless than Kingdom Hearts 3, a game (made by the same developers) that he panned for being too easy. There's no way he'll give it a negative review because he'll want to farm Day 1 Views when the next part comes out.
Instead he'll do a fake PR segment over how much he loved it, despite all the similarities between it and KH3.
