Jaxon, Claire and Lola are dead. The end of an era, thank fuck. Who are the big players now? Kayli looks like a good contender.

So if I’m getting this right, it’s not just that the baby’s organs are hanging out, but judging by that x-ray there’s not even enough room inside the body to keep the organs correctly contained.View attachment 1223283

I preferred the black and white. That is part of the intestine sticking out.
I did read it. This case was actually delivered vaginally somehow. Surprised it had an APGAR of even 4.
The scoliosis of the spine was so bad that the lungs were impeded severely. They shoved the intestines in a plastic bag then spent months trying to cover the head hole then having to go back and cover the intestine bag again. Geez. Most interesting part is the use of Karaya gum sheets to grow skin over open areas.
Tracheostomy at 4 months, MRSA in the intestines. Pneumonia at 1 year from Candida in the intestine.
Horrifyingly, was not a total potato at 3 years old.
I'm guessing that one wasnt nearly as deformed as most of them either and that's why they decided to try and save it. It's pretty impressive that one lived but it's due to cutting edge medicine and probably a bit of dumb luck, not a miracle from Jesus. So if I’m getting this right, it’s not just that the baby’s organs are hanging out, but judging by that x-ray there’s not even enough room inside the body to keep the organs correctly contained.
So not only are they likely in horrific agony, but they’re going to have a giant unprotected tumor for an organ pouch jutting out of them for however long they live.
What a wretched existence.

It's funny that Sarah bitches about those evil doctors nonstop when the first article especially makes it sound like they did everything they could to save her fucked up baby. And if it happened in biblical times it wouldn't even have made it that far.
She'd probably be thrown off a cliff for producing a monster, because such would only happen to a foul, evil witch. After all, how could one produce such a thing without consorting with demons?
Actually when some organs are outside the body, especially the intestine, you'd think "how the hell did they fit there?" They seem ridiculously large to be cramped inside someones body. I believe the other reason they seem too large compared to the baby's body is because whatever was successfully formed of the abdominal wall just deflated without the organs inside, like a plastic bag without air/grocery would. So if I’m getting this right, it’s not just that the baby’s organs are hanging out, but judging by that x-ray there’s not even enough room inside the body to keep the organs correctly contained.

I’m aware that organs can look bigger on the outside, but I was actually referring to the parts of the x-ray where it seems to indicate that half of the ribcage is about a quarter of what it should be, the spine appears to be jutting into places where the organs would go normally, and that pelvis looks fucked.Actually when some organs are outside the body, especially the intestine, you'd think "how the hell did they fit there?" There is a case where a baby was born with his intestines outside of his body. But the baby wasn't as premature and it was only the intestine, not all organs that were outside of the body. The headline though.
The boy born with his organs OUTSIDE his body and held together by cling film: Doctor told mother to have an abortion because he could never have a normal life... but Teddy proved everybody wrong
I'm glad the baby was ok but the mother's attitude is still shit.

Gwen Hartley had the same mindset as those glurge articles.I hate fucking glurge like this. They always try to portray the doctors as if they're some kind of monsters for just telling the truth about what is horrible news. If things turn out better than predicted it is shitty to act like they somehow just gave their professional opinions to hurt your feelings or some bullshit instead of saying everything is fucking wonderful.
Ah I see, definitely.I’m aware that organs can look bigger on the outside, but I was actually referring to the parts of the x-ray where it seems to indicate that half of the ribcage is about a quarter of what it should be, the spine appears to be jutting into places where the organs would go normally, and that pelvis looks fucked.
I suspect those deformities have a lot to do with the organs not fitting over there just looking big.
PS. you link is broken.
Ugh. I hate this patronizing bullshit. Disabled kids are people, not angels, and they're here because their parents had sex, same reason everyone else is here. It's that time of year again. I've had multiple people post this on my page.View attachment 1224668
Why do the later pictures of him look like he has little pink pimples on his cheeks?Christopher Alvarez is alive still; he is a scholarship student at Adelphi University, majoring in communications and economics. Per his Instagram it looks like he’s supposed to graduate this semester. In spite of his skeletal issues, Christopher clearly has a meaningful life that he finds fulfillment in, and is able to fully participate in and contribute to society.
From the medical journal article about the other case it’s not clear to me why the patient had severe mental disabilities; I am guessing it was oxygen deprivation from her breathing issues, but I’m not sure.
I don’t know if Paisley has anything mentally wrong with her, or if they can even tell at that age. Christopher’s case gives me some hope for her future mental capabilities, I suppose. Per the Prayers for Paisley group she is making some progress with her motor skills.
Not from YOU Brandon. You divorced the mother of ur tard child and lived apart from her while still miilking those sweet prolife bux. The mum, other female family members and possibly hired care were the ones who actually cared for him. Brittany (Jaxon's mom) sounds a lot less fundamentalist. I wonder if she became more secular because of this experience.“It sounds crazy, but he didn’t need that much extra care.”
Clearly we should attribute this one to the kami as it happened in Japan. The thing with using a film of natural sap-like material to cover it is pretty interesting though. I doubt even other developed countries except South Korea would bother trying that.I'm guessing that one wasnt nearly as deformed as most of them either and that's why they decided to try and save it. Thought I'd share an anecdote that is somewhat relevant to futile medical care.
I live in Amish country and have a lot of family working in healthcare. Some relatives of mine were discussing how the Amish do in fact take their sick to hospitals if need be. But if somebody is too old or sick, they will usually decide to cut them off and let them die. My relatives found this barbaric and wrong of course. But it makes sense.
They actually pay all medical costs out of pocket since they don't believe in health insurance and don't get medicare. They aren't gonna push for years of futile care when they're the ones actually paying for it themselves and not the government. Although I imagine religious beliefs might play a role too.
These are just about the most devout people there are, and even they know when to give up.
They're quite inbred to the point where people here can recognize an Amish person even if they're not dressed as such. They all have the same hair and eye color. There were a few Amish tards in my school believe it or not.The Amish have their own set of tard baby issues due to marriages and breeding in such a small population.
My family is pretty fundie and through my husband's family business (farming) we have come in contact with the Amish and other plain brethren.
I've mentioned here before fundies I've known continuing to breed even after being strictly warned against it.
It is very interesting to me how the two groups handle the issues mentioned in this thread and also being told to stop having further risky pregnancies .
The Amish/plain people come out looking downright sane.
