Local observations from out and about today (Tempe, AZ). Most businesses closed, empty parking lots everywhere. Hit WoMart for a few needed items. No lines, no hassles, but many empty shelves. Flour? Nope. Paper goods? Nope. Beans/rice? Some.

Notable things. Longest line? At the pot dispensary up the street. About 20 people waiting to get their fix. (AZ is still medical only, not recreational, yet anyway).

Hysterical observation: the sex shop up the street (Facinations) was previously closed as non-essential. But today? They are open with curbside pickup only. This tickled me to no end and I told the wife "Can you imagine? When we get home, I'm calling them and placing an order for a 13" black dlido, some anal lubes, and two pony tail butt plugs for pickup!"

We both giggled immensely!
Pardon my sick sense of humor.

Okay so now we have a new server and so that reason for not archiving is gone. I just don’t understand, we archive everything here, it’s like part of the deal? And saying “please don’t archive” then in a year someone else is reading this thread and one of the videos is important for some reason but all your links are broken... why even bother linking the videos in the first place? It just seems like laziness to me. Or your links are shitty. Don’t click his links

No dude, I just made one comment on one flippant remark and you're here spazzing out. I agree wholeheartedly with you, and if you'd stop flailing your arms and screaming long enough you might notice that this is the third time I've said that.

No, the only thing I said was ghoulish was the flippant attitude you had in the specific post I remarked on originally towards people who might put their loved ones above the economy, which, while I might disagree with that attitude I do understand it and as I said would rather approach the conversation from a standpoint of "it's already out, there's nothing people can do" than bringing in percentages and whatnot to try to autistically get people to give more of a fuck about people they don't know or care about than their own loved ones, because (imo, anyway) you're not going to get someone who does think that way to agree with you with that approach.

As long as you don't own anything flashy and aren't materialistic, bankruptcy fuckin rules. Instead of paying off loans forever to shitty creditors who don't care, bankruptcy erases all your debt and your creditors can go fuck themselves.

Spaniards life with their parents till they are 40... rent is also very cheap outside of the tourist areas and major centres.
and there are plenty of empty houses to rent since ever spaniard wanted a nice holyday home in the 2000s( they are now pretty much all broke but the flats were build).

but its still not cool for more than a summer trip.
Portugal on the other hand, well i still miss my semester in porto. Fanstastic city but quite expensive for iberia.

People should wear masks(cotton or other material) outside, but its not a law.
non medical masks are produced in giant amounts by every company with expertise. the numbers i foudn an added up come to about 1.5-2 million a week from cotton. but thats not all, Melitta has started to produce masks in their coffeefilter factory they plan with 1 million masks a day next week and alot more per day if needed. they say they will start producing in Brazil and the US too, so maybe that will help.


The goal is to get tests to 650k a week in the next two weeks.

They got a head start because of the Taiwanese version of the chans.

Hey I'll let you know that is a hurtful stereotype. We actually live on our GRANDPARENT's house until we're 40. You think our parents got enough coin for a whole house?!

Jokes aside fun fact. Most did not want a 2nd home at all. The reason so many houses were built is Aznar literally intentionally wanted to cause a housing bubble to syphon money from foreign banks. He seriously thought that was a good idea to hold up the economy. You know the worst part? He's not even the dumbest motherfucker we ever got, that honor goes to his successor, Zapatero.

China (as the Chinese state) renounced all pretenses to sovereignty over Taiwan with the 1895 Shimonoseki peace treaty, years before the Peoples Republic of China or the Chinese Republic were formed.

The time has come to bring back the eight nations alliance to kick China's ass. As Austria-Hungarian empire is no longer around, maybe 2020 superpower India could take its place. Or Taiwan, or Korea (with sufficient guarantees even Kim Jong Un might be interested).:optimistic:
