Normally I’d point out the self asspat/PL here but with the exceptionally low bar now being set in this thread, it is arguably less offensive.

its like tumblr couldnt hold all the kinnies or they got bored & saw the potentially lucrative nature of mental health videos & just ran with it. like "weird teens in tumblr love this shit & did is BASICALLY just dsm v kin, right?" kaching! not to mention the fact that young people are insecure & have this need to kind of meet a community/individual they admire on THEIR level in order to engage instead of sitting on the sidelines & forming their own opinions. very suggestible!! just look at uhm...any trender. & i think we all go through a degree of this in yvng adulthood, like making certain bands our entire identity or getting incredibly into weed. but one grows into themselves & understands that
1. discretion is FUN & likely your safest option @ any given time
2. you dont need to fully externalize your whole shtick-- be it interest in did or transgender """"influencers"""" (im sorry) to be taken seriously so long as you know what the fuck youre talking about & have a modicum of integrity

that being said-- to lay thr foundation for this behavior with a disorder of this magnitude is plain irresponsible. we know being an idiot comes with childhood & that kids are going to latch on to anything that makes a disorder sound like a cutesy extension of their imagination. if she were (chloe) more clinical w this & difnt make it seem like a sitcom, and TRULY felt a responsibility to her platform things would look a lot different.

shes gotta know.... right??

Apologies. I tried to give as little as possible just to make this point: just because you know and have an opinion doesnt mean you have to give your entire history and why you know these things. Just contribute to what's at hand.
