It's not even the lack of professionalism there, it's the fact that there is yet again someone trying to make this situation about how it's hurt THEM as a Precious, UwU Individual. Like, good for them trying to help people with venting (lmao) but why include all of the 'oh this has hurt you, and ALSO ME' and 'oh i've cried soooo many times'
It's like powerleveling on here. Like, you're a business. You're presenting yourself as a business, not particularly as a person. Why are you explaining about how sad you are? Just address the situation.
That’s what I’ve noticed, I’ve seen a lot of selfish and egocentric undertones not just in the authorities, but in the community. Ie: when people were saying they were traumatized by the images Nan drew, all of the fans were like “how DAREEE you your accusations are just going to cause Nan and us more trauma you sick twisted idiots” (despite the fact that it’s just an opinion and as grown ass adults they should have the maturity to respect that person’s freedom of speech). How could you insult and badger someone for feeling traumatized by such explicit images, but feel sooo obliged to protect Nin, Nan or themselves over any form of skepticism whatsoever? Its like Nan, Nin and the community’s trauma>>>>all others.
Also, I’m so tired of suicide and self harm being a flex. It’s like the boy who cried wolf. The more you brag about it to me, the more I’ll just suggest you either see a licensed therapist or doctor, or I’ll just become nonchalant.
Also, who comes off after a suicide attempt less than a day later to make a tik tok saying “Ow You Hurt Us” like that was absolutely comical to me. That just shows how instead of getting professional help, they’d rather guilt trip people for having opinions.
I hate to say it but, if you can’t take criticism, just remove yourself from the internet. And half of it isn’t criticism, it’s genuine skepticism and people trying to decipher these disorders, but nooo you can’t ask any questions. Um, how did science advance in the first place? By questioning the “norm”. Copernicus was heavily chastised for thinking the Sun was in the center of the galaxy, but he was right. People have to be open minded when it comes to science, because theories are always changing as new evidence is discovered.
Honestly, if me having an opinion means not being accepted by this community, so be it. At least all of us have the cognitive awareness to formulate our own opinions without caring what people think. Those are the people who truly advance science.
