I still play Warframe but yeah, the content droughts the last few years were pretty egregious. Like a lot of other folks in this thread that still play Warframe I had to move on to something else once I burned through whatever patch came out. The Kuva Lich grind did me in last time.
In all honesty I'd be happier with one annual big story patch and a bunch of smaller operations than two or three big updates each year. It would give me more to do and make the world feel less static.

They made the Lich thing much less... absolutely inexcusable.
You can now preview what the Worms will drop, and beating/getting beaten by a lich gives murmurs to party members and doesn't kill you.

I noticed that. I'm having a better time trying to get the Kuva Karak, certain ephemera, and the explosive bow. I still think some of the missions are a little much but on average aren't too bad. I had a mobile defense Lich node on Neptune that spawned Oculysts on the first objective, real fun when the sentients jam your progress at level 70+. Things went from bad to worse when Hexis decided to fuck with me then.

Yeah, the QOL improvements to the Kuva Lich system is marginally better, but not by much. The whole thing is a gigantic grind in the worst possible way and having finished my first Lich recently, I never want to do it again: the "rewards" are not worth the time/effort/frustration put into it. I heard a rumor a while back that they were thinking of doing a Lich-based system for Corpus and Infested and that's a big DO NOT WANT from me. Fix/refine the system you have before shoehorning it in with the other factions, ugh.
Also, the recent 'Design a Warframe' contest winner was... a "broken" Warframe. No visuals, no conceptual ideas for powers... just that. While I can appreciate a developer laughing at themselves from time to time, there's a difference between honest self-deprecation and ham-fisted attempts at cheeky self-awareness; the latter being what DE was likely going for when choosing the winner. No slight to the poor guy who suggested the concept, but yikes.
That said, I still enjoy the game in some masochistic sort of way, but I don't give a shit about the Scarlet Spear/New War, I just want the Corpus Ship remaster and the Deadlock Protocol... but I'm kind of worried they'll make the story yet another "lol Alad V/Nef Anyo fucked things up again for everyone this time", which hey... Frohd Bek exists, remember him, DE?

On topic, to the surprise of absolutely no one DE was too lazy to bother implementing the stuff they said they would way back in this forum post. Some rando was banned because linking a kitgun called "Death to Furries OwO" became ban-worthy at some point. Some faggotry about targeted threats or something. That in itself isn't new or different for DE, but the fact that this person's ban process didn't use any of the changes or policies that were promised almost a year ago. DE never changed anything, and this person's post blew up big enough that Rebecca swooped in and applied a single-case instance of what players were promised would be standard for everyone.
tl;dr DE promised lots of moderation changes and never delivered; massive public bitch fits are still the only way to make them do anything including stuff they already said they'd do.

Likely just ignore it, like all of the current criticisms, such as suddenly changing how healing defense targets works, even with all the backlash in the forums, Scarlet Spear being a repetitive grindfest, although it was branded as "fun" (they didn't lie about the scaling rewards, but it's just a currency that's grinded to buy arcanes without spending platinum or grinding Eidolons, alongside MR filler, a shitty Forma, and cosmetics), and this is only addressing the current update, others are far, far worse.Train man released a new video.

Stating that DE selectively picks what they listen to, one person wanted Univeral Medallions to not work for the PvP gamemode's standing got the feature to work, but community collectively saying that they don't want Liches to kill you if you don't have the right combo took a few months to get put in, plus no univerasl Vaccum, although it got closer in 2018. Especially appaling considering that DE claims to be listening to the community.

Chapter 4 begins, A Heart to Heart, from me to DE, DE is unintentionally destroying their own game by ignoring their community, their "community first" mentality was what got their game popular, and ignoring it is destroying it, he is very fortunate compared to other content creators for revenue, because he doesn't rely on Patreon or Youtube for money, allowing him to freely leave if he wants to and speak his mind, and does it out of charity. Mentions the shitshow of balancing that no one likes that is known as The Old Blood, explaining why Warframe is deemed as "F2P done right", 7 years after Warframe's beta, current WF design is designed to trap people who have already been playing for a while rather than attracting new players.
TLDW: AGGP is a lolcow and DE is failing to both attract new players into the game and to appease the current players due to new content mainly for people who have already been playing and ignoring early game and bugs.
