I can see why people are finding Virginia references. Apparently Intercorp Security did some sort of business out of McLean, which is in Fairfax County, Virginia. Not surprising that, as its in Virginia's tech area. All the cached links in search 404 though.

Well now this is interesting. There is an active business registration under Intercorp Services LLC in Virginia.

Going to the link shows nothing about its corporate structure. Just a registered agent, which is a law firm in Charlottesville (All roads lead to chris-chan here apparently).

None of their incorporation articles are posted either. Just "in house".

maybe I missed something, but why on earth would Anisa hire this goon? like I can't imagine she set out to get legal representation and some Greek clown was among her google results.
Do you really think she has the critical thinking skills to go as far as googling someone before hiring them? Lol :optimistic:

I didn't comment on her due diligence. in finding representation, do you think she would do anything other than type "copyrite laywer" into google and look at the first results? she had to have done something even stupider to end up with him. like hire the first person who emailed her calling themselves a problem solver.

Maybe he keeps an office in the us just as an option of sorts? It'd be pretty hard to file a legal notice from europe to america that isn't just over the internet only, which is why he buys what is likely a office with few if any people managing stuff in it

Search any state for just "Intercorp" and it's all over the place. There are also registered agent companies with that name which increases the spam even more. I think this scammer just picked a name very similar to lots of other companies to hide in the chaff. The company is almost certainly just him and maybe a paid monkey or two depending on how much actual time spamming this garbage takes.

So what does that mean then? Is he touchable?

Due to the fact that this guy doesn't actually rank for any keywords, I assume he probably contacted her. A lot of companies do this. Basically all you have to do is read up on a situation that affects a company/person and then contact them with an e-mail with your service.

You'd be surprised how many idiots go for this. I've done similar stuff in marketing myself. Cold calling is such a dead method and yet tons of people go for it. My bet is that Anisa probably got a twitter DM or e-mail from this dude and didn't even google him, at most looked up his LinkedIn.
