The worst part about SK is that they act like they're so smart for knowing basic character design tips (shape language), but... They don't even do it properly. They over-exaggerate literally everything, imagine seeing an actual cartoon that looks like this LOL
They don't even fix the actual designs. Apparently having same-face syndrome is worst than drawing like a 5yr old.

To be fair, I actually tend to prefer when someone has a sona that isn’t super special. Keep it simple, I say. There’s plenty of ways to make them unique that show off their personality beyond crazy colors and fur patterns.
I don’t think people who are into hyper really care about realism and nor should they. It’s just a dumb fantasy for when they’re horny. It’s like how nobody (except the super autistic) cares about realism in their other crazy fetishes like vore or inflation or what have you. Applying realism to obviously impossible dumb fantasies just makes it more autistic, really.

Tbh I don't hate the bunny's design. It's not 40$ worthy and the anatomy is whack, but I like the rainbow swirls on black fur look. It reminds me of gems like fire opal.

I agree. Hyperrealistic hyper porn or hyperrealistic vore always looks way more disgusting and unappealing than badly-drawn hyper or vore in my opinion, although since I'm not really into either fetish I can't really say how actual kinksters feel about that. From an artistic standpoint, though, they're both fetishes that imply cartoonish aspects such as hammerspace or swelling, so art that applies them to a more realistic visual standard always looks more uncomfortable and warped on principal.

It's probably one of the more decent character design on this thread. It's not assaulting to the eye with it's colors or it's many details. It's not extremely busy with pointless details or words and the background for it is pretty good since it doesn't take away from the design. It's just weird seeing like a disney fan cat angel that's not eye blinding. If the artist ever gets past the troon phase they could go to make good designs.

Hmmm... your probably right about that, the design can work as it’s own character you remove all the troon crap, just make a male and call it a day, bam! Problem solved.
I've never understood why they have to outwardly claim their character is trans. If they are supposedly trans, shouldn't you not have to say it? Just say they're a male or not? Its just a "special" label for them.

The redesign is way better, holy shit. Still generic as hell as far as original species go but the perfectly rounded teats just made them look like they had some incredibly badly drawn abdominal muscles.

Basically. They even copied the style pretty well that for a moment I thought Ground-Lion made them (Unless they did and I'm missing that they go by snivy-kun now). It's still weird that they had to focus on still keeping gem nipples, but knowing that Ground-Lion is probably way larger than them and could have an army raise to destroy them I'm not shocked. They need an element to hide behind and claim it's original.

Closed species are the worst, but oh my god the original design looks horrifying.
Overall. If you see someone making closed species and stuff, my best advice is for you to stay away from them. Never seen anything good come out of closed species besides drama, and the creators themselves are narcissistic autstics from my own personal experience.
I got a journal made on me on DA, exposing me as a 'pedo' by two creepy furfags who are apart of making closed species. It was outta revenge because I called their friend out for harassing a minor and getting people to hate them for liking YAOI.
Keep in mind, the person tryna do that is 21yrs old and the YAOI kid is only 13. They also are a huge Birdie fan, actively calls Birdie's ex an "abuser" despite it not being the case at all. None of the two people seemed to care about the serious nature of exposing someone as a pedo is and they sent NSFW to a minor,. They laughed at me for taking it seriously though, I debunked all their proof and handle everything maturely but they still act like they've 'won' or some shit. It's really disgusting.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link that shit but yeah, those people are crazy, unoriginal, and selfish. I hate closed species with a passion, that stuff happened recently too right before my birthday. Between all the "yuh cant copy muh spcies!!11!" horror stories and that, I have reason to believe all closed species makers are toxic.

Just saying, the fact that "closed species" even exist as a concept should have been a giant red flag to you.
The fact is, "closed species" as a concept never made sense. If you wanted your super special OG species to be closed, you know what need to be done? You fucking don't show it to anyone outside your super special group, Of course, this runs contrary to the narcissistic behaviour of furries in general, who wants to be acknowledged for their "creativity". And so comes to the paradox of the idea:
You cannot copyright ideas.
But that's exactly what a closed species is: an idea. A vague collection of attributes that would make up your fictional species. The moment you publish a concept of this, the floodgates are effectively opened. You have exposed the idea to the world, and anybody can take it and use it to run with their own ideas. There's no putting the genie in the bottle. Imagine James Cameron trying to make his blue aliens a "closed species". He'd be laughed out of any Hollywood board immediately. The same applies to furries. By right, the very idea of having a super special closed species should have been mocked right out of the gate. But no. Instead, ironically, these furries took the most overzealous interpretation of copyright law and tried to enforce it on the community. That any use of this "idea" needs their permission and the implicit notion that they should be paid for some shitty collection of ideas that no one else would give the time of the day. I wouldn't say they succeeded, but they certainly built up a vocal minority who would defend this stupid concept. It's honestly fascinating that the very same "communist-leaning" furries, would also defend the notion of "closed species", an extremely capitalist concept, in the same breath.
So yeah, I don't know what you expected.
