Nihilism is mostly an elementary philosophy and Chris would understand its basic tenets but ignore them because he wants to play with a pony or pretend he’s Sonic.

He doesn’t really care about philosophy or ideology beyond escapist fantasies or enablers. Tomorrow he wakes up, plays Tetris, has sex with Pokémon, checks on Barb to see if she’s still breathing, maybe pets an animal. And then he’s ready to roleplay.

Yeah, a lot of newcomers to Chris’s shitshow often have a tendency to assume he’s some sort of dedicated supporter of an incredibly niche belief system with its own tenets, doctrines, scripture and canon; Sockness certainly likes to think so.

Chris just roleplays over the internet the way an 11 year old would while reveling over a decent percentage of followers that also roleplay and further enable him. He’s pretty much the “chuunibyou” (middle school syndrome) concept only with a middle aged man instead of a 13 year old. The sad part is— there are quite a few people even older than Chris that spend their encroaching twilight years roleplaying whatever disgusting fantasy, sexual or otherwise, that they couldn’t act out IRL.

Chris only watches Rick and Morty for the pickle Rick meme and while he didn't have much to say about bojack, he made it clear he must have watched it's one season blunder of a sister show tuca and Bertie.


But like family guy and Morel Orel in his past, any deeper meaning or message in those shows writing was lost in that peanut brain if his. Just look at his recent "live reaction " video. It clearly shows that Chris is just watches TV to follow the colors and sounds. Anything else goes right over his pear shaped head.

Yeah, he brought it up in the Alec calls in response to the violence in Asperchu. He hated it because 'cartoons are real' and then a short while later he draws the executions of the asperpedia 4. In the same call where he referenced Happy Tree Friends, chris admitted to liking the Saw films.
