That's optimistic of you, assuming a troon with busted kidneys will last that long. Tooter is the exception, not the norm!

How the fuck does a starving tranny artist afford a place like that? What a sucker I was, going to school and getting a real job.

I wonder why the shop in her shoplifting strip was the art store so close to where she is currently living as a supposed adult and not, for instance, where she used to live.
It's either a tacit admission that the dog character is them and shoplifting happened relatively recently, or that they can't remember what their old art store looked like so they're just using a recent picture of a store front because their art sucks and can't wing it from memory. Neither explanation is flattering, and the latter is optimistic.

The photos look kind of comfy(especially the built-in 4 car garage), but $1350/month for 1000sq is pretty harsh for a unit you don't own.

This.

Did you hear that guys? The thief just "can't" today. Looks like the local stores won't have as much shrink today.
You know, I bet PewDiePie just couldn't after his house got burgled, too. We can all take guidance for the appropriate amount of empathy to show others in that state from Jessica's own writing.

So Jess looks at a character people sympathize with and tosses him aside, and then takes a character people dislike (self-insert or no) and tries to make a comic portraying them as sympathetic--except it just comes off as plain pathetic. This is really tone deaf, and portraying a character feeling depressive because they're suffering the consequences of their own actions doesn't warrant feelings of sympathy. If this wasn't a self-insert, I'd called this lazy writing. But given that this is, it's nothing more than a cheap shot at pity points that falls on its face.
