MGS4 also ends in a fist fight but I'll be damned if it isn't one of the most satisfying fist fights I've ever seen in a video game.

It just goes to show you that no matter how much money you pump into something, it just cant replace vision. They obviously just shoehorned in politics, wrote a token revenge story, shoehorned in a romance, then tried to slap on some pretty visuals and call it a day. They never looked at this game as a extension of the first, it was just the next cash cow. Hell if they had written a good revenge story then most other flaws could be forgiven, but lets just say this isnt the next Count of Monte Cristo.

Even the first game ended poorly. I mean, Ellie wouldn't shut the fuck up the entire game, then drops some survivor guilt BS on Joel in the final moment? "This girl finger banged me and we had a suicide pact!"

I skimmed through the script, and I actually liked the idea of a story perspective from a family member / friend of one of the hundreds/thousands of people you kill along the way in one of these games. So its not just like borderlands where there's endless empty mooks.

Judge Holden's image edits have made this the best game I'm never going to play.
