Most irritating fucking characters are paladins that are all "Letter of the Law", and Lawful Good; I've seen motherfuckers derail campaigns over points of etiquette, and other equally stupid shit, while being completely in character.

Oh, those chucklefucks are the worst. Every time I see someone bragging about knowing how to play an Evil-aligned character "properly" (read: Lawful/Chaotic/Neutral Evil and not Stupid Evil), I roll my eyes and ask them if they know how to play a Lawful Good Paladin properly. Now that's a proper challenge for most people.

What were those extraplanar things hiding under Aunaroch? Those didn't have genders, but they also didn't consider anything in Faerun to be more than animals and livestock.

The description reminds me of the Neogi, but I don't remember if they're in Forgotten Realms.

Apparently, the bullshit about "orcs aren't really evil" is from a 4E supplement, Volo's Guide, which used to be cool as shit in 2E, 3E, and 3.5.

EDIT - I went and checked The Trove, and this is apparently from the 5E Volo's, but it's still not a core book, and Rule Zero is "Use as much, or as little, of the official materials as you like.

I wouldn't run it like that, but to be fair, I hate the idea of morality being part of the laws of physics.

This whole bullshit over D&D convinces me that SJWs really don't have imaginations. They don't have to like the traditional depiction of orcs, but nothing is stopping them from making their own orc tribes, characters, campaigns, etc. They don't even have to play D&D if this pisses them off so much! They could just make their own fantasy game.
