From what I've seen, the root of "kidfus" is definitely some kind of fucked-up sexual attraction compared to wanting an actual child. It's also something I've noticed a lot more male waifuists doing than women. They just pick a character they think is "cute" and "adopt" them into their idiotic "harem", whereas I'm seeing the women posting about a whole different approach to kids, asking about Reborn Dolls and sperm donors, etc. They want their own "actual" kids with their husbandos, not some random kid from a different preexisting series.

It's funny how biological programming rears its head even within fictional relationships, you can tell some of the husbandoists struggle with actual maternal complexes, whereas dudes like Jedi are just like "WHICH LOLI CAN I FUG NEXT? XD".

A good rule of thumb is to assume that someone who has a kidfu is probably into loli/shota hentai.

I mean, some of these fools are so pathetic, that they actually make altars for their "waifus" and worship them like "gods/goddesses", and well, that's some pretty dark spiritual energy to be playing around with, and God doesn't approve of that.

Now let's assume that "magic and spells" are actually real in a spiritual sense, and some of these "waifuists" tried using witchcraft and spells to conjure spirits into these items/dolls/action figures/etc. to try and make them "real" in a dim-witted attempt to get closer to their waifus, but the spirits they conjured were actually evil, demonic, and just plain insane, and then you get a good picture of how horrifying this stuff actually is, and why people shouldn't have, more to less, "worship" waifus.
