Cursed Images

Anyone do a reverse image search at the time?
doubt it would have helped. there's nothing identifying and she probably took the photos just for the thread. it's better that way, you just know some weirdo would pretend to be that J bitch and freak her out if they found out who she was. 9 years later I imagine she's happily married and worked through this.

Replace that chair and repaint the walls and that could be cozy.

Absolutely. I had a large walk-in closet once that I didn't know what to do with, the regular closets was enough for me. So I put a couch in there, a small end table, couple of lamps, put up some shelves for games, movies and knick-knacks, added a TV and my consoles, dragged a desk in there for my gaming computer - that part was similar to that image except not as cramped, dank and grody.
All done to not let that space go to waste and it had the added benefit of sanitizing the rest of the place from nerdery during a time when that was a cursed thing. An acceptable explanation for why they found some forgotten porn in one of the tv-stand cabinets would be "it's pornography", can't argue with that. But how the hell do you explain why there's also Final Fantasy games and Ghost in the Shell on VHS in there? Different times.

Is this from a movie?

This reminds me of my old studio office space... Although mine was darker and had possibly less/more dead hookers.

(my old office space for comparison circa 2009).

edit: I painted all the bare brick solid black gloss brick paint, mainly so it was dark in there, painted the windows in that room black too... It was what it was, and worked... I think the website the right screen was on was Arcadeathome, so very much 2009. The left was probably off because it had gone to sleep or was usually just controlling my EFI Firey RIP (old PPC shite, but needed then) for my circa 2007 printers...

Moved on since then, and now my office room is so white I need to apologise to people of colour.
